Dear Sirs,
I am writing to address an issue with my recent TextNow order. My TextNow number is [redacted], and I upgraded my plan by purchasing a SIM card. After completing the order, I was informed that I would receive the SIM card by Thursday. Unfortunately, by the end of Thursday, the package had yet to even begin its journey to me.
I am very disappointed by this misleading marketing tactic. It seems unfair and inappropriate. Although I anticipate receiving the SIM on Saturday, it will already be two days late. I believe I deserve compensation for these two lost days of service, especially since I was unable to utilize the voided SIM card.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,
A. Copperhawk

I have been noticing some unusually long numbers with back-to-back phone numbers on my call history, which I never made. To my surprise, I have been charged for international calls that I didn't make. I have blocked such calls now. Additionally, there is an error on this month's bill as I have not been able to use my data despite paying for it for over two years. I was promised a one-month credit on my account during a previous call with customer service, so I'd like that to be applied. I have attempted to provide updates on this matter to customer service multiple times.

After logging out of my TextNow account, it feels like I have lost everything. I need to recover my account and keep the same number without having to start over and provide location and get a new number. Despite the app being free, I had a wireless plan and got charged a $36 fee from my bank due to not reading the fine print. I canceled that service, but now I am faced with this issue. I would rather pay for a cheaper plan and not have to deal with this problem repeatedly. Thank you, Gethuman, for your assistance in the past.

I am a victim in an attempted murder trial. The person involved, a gang member, has threatened me and I received a menacing text from the phone number [redacted]. The content of the message was extremely offensive and threatening. I have already reported this to the authorities and involved detectives. I am reaching out to TextNow for assistance in identifying the owner of the phone number in question. Your help in this serious situation would be greatly appreciated.

I encountered issues while trying to make a payment on my original TextNow phone using my debit card. After several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to purchase a new phone under a different account. Surprisingly, on October 4th, I was charged $39.99 on my original phone, which was supposed to be inactive. Now, I am seeking a refund for this mistaken charge and wish to close that account since I already have a functioning one. The situation is frustrating as I struggled to make payments on the original phone for two months, but then unexpectedly got charged while it was not in use due to payment issues. I hope to get reimbursed and have the unnecessary account closed promptly.

I keep receiving emails threatening that I may lose my phone number. Despite using my phone regularly, each email contains a different phone number, none of which belong to me. I am concerned about the security and privacy of my information. It's bothersome as these emails have access to my phone data. This is the third time I'm reporting this issue to Text Now. The emails are misleading as they do not even mention my actual number. I wish to stop these threatening emails that are not related to my phone number at all. I am looking for a resolution and positive outcome, not negative responses.

I recently realized I was logged out of my TextNow account and have been unable to log back in for about a month now. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I keep receiving errors indicating that my username doesn't exist or the password is incorrect. This is perplexing as I have been using this account for the past two years without any issues. After researching online, I discovered that many others have faced similar problems. It has been suggested that the issue could be related to my internet connection or that I might have been disabled from logging in due to potential violation of TextNow's guidelines, which I find unlikely as I am certain I have not breached any rules. I am eager to determine the cause of this problem and recover access to my account. I attempted to contact TextNow support a month ago but have not received a response via email.

Last night, on Sunday, October 15, [redacted], while using my TextNow mobile app version 5.74.0.2, I was suddenly logged out. Despite trying multiple times to log back in with my usual email and password, I received an error message stating the password and/or username were incorrect. I attempted to reset my password several times using the link sent to my email, but I remain locked out of my account. I suspect this may be due to potential spamming behavior caused by sending urgent messages to multiple contacts individually. I urgently need access to my account, which contains vital business contacts and information. Time is of the essence, as I have already incurred financial losses as a result of this issue. My email associated with the account is [redacted], and the TextNow number is [redacted]. I appreciate any assistance in unlocking my account promptly or at your earliest convenience.

I returned all our phones from two accounts and cancelled service last month. I even had someone call me and I told him once again I wanted to stop service. Though I received the two notifications for $13.99 for each account, I did not think the amount would actually be taken out of my account as I also had a new debit card issued which means I must have used my bank account number or some other method such as PayPal to sign up. So I was angered to just see that TextNow has taken out one of the $13.99 amounts today which means the other will be coming out within the next few days. Please check your records and return my money. My email is either [redacted] or [redacted]

I have not used TextNow for a year. However, there was a charge to my MasterCard on September 25, [redacted], for $19.99. I do not use your services or have the phone associated with TextNow. I want to ensure I am never charged again for something I do not use and request that the $19.99 be refunded to my MasterCard promptly. When you confirm that you will honorably refund my money, I will provide you with my MasterCard number. At this moment, I do not trust TextNow. My name is Amber D., and my email address is [redacted]. I do not recall the phone number I had when using your service. I appreciate a prompt response to this matter. Thank you. Sincerely, Amber D.

I had been using the number [redacted] on the TextNow app for verification purposes. Due to my phone issues, I was unable to use the number for a week after receiving a warning that it would be released. Now, I am unable to access an important account linked to this number, containing vital files and media. Despite my attempts to contact TextNow, I have not received a response. I am requesting a temporary reassignment of my previous number to regain access to my account and switch to my current number ([redacted]) to prevent future issues. I understand the importance of not relying solely on technology and assure I will only use the reissued number for verification. This situation has caused me significant stress impacting my work responsibilities. I hope for your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

I recently had a number on TextNow's App for verification, which was [redacted]. Due to my phone being formatted and switching devices, I missed a warning that my number was set to release. This number was used for an app similar to WhatsApp for verification, containing vital files and media that I cannot access now. I've tried reaching out to TextNow without any response. I am requesting to have my old number, [redacted], reassigned to me temporarily to regain access to my account. I assure you it's for a short duration just to retrieve the verification code. My current TextNow number is [redacted]. Reassigning the old number temporarily is crucial for me to access my account and switch numbers. I hope for your understanding and assistance in this matter. Thank you.

My TextNow account has been permanently disabled. During a chat with TextNow support to have it re-enabled, the representative mentioned it was disabled for a policy violation but couldn't provide details on the violation or when it occurred. After the representative temporarily enabled my account, I attempted to log in, only to have it disabled again as soon as I entered my area code, with no explanation on a new violation. The agent was unable to assist further and stated that the account was permanently disabled without clarifying the cause of the latest issue or why logging in triggered a violation.

My name is Sam. I purchased an LG X Power less than six months ago. While listening to music on YouTube, my phone suddenly died. Upon trying to charge it, I realized it was stuck on a black screen with the backlight on. Despite my attempts to shut it down using the power button, I had to resort to a soft reset by holding both the power and volume down buttons. However, when it rebooted, it got stuck just past the logo and remained frozen. After researching, I found out it's trapped in a bootloop. I have not made any modifications to my phone, and now I'm facing a situation where it's unusable, causing me to miss out on job opportunities. I believe I should receive a replacement phone free of charge, considering this seems to be a manufacturer flaw.

I'm concerned about the duplicate charges I've been experiencing for the past two months. I signed up for a TextNow plan on 8-20-[redacted] and later purchased an HTC Bolt for $[redacted] on 9-5-[redacted] from the TextNow site. During the phone purchase, I agreed to transfer my existing TextNow phone number and service to the new device. However, I was charged an extra $10 on 9-19-18, despite already paying for the monthly service. In October, I was charged twice again, on 10-5-18 and 10-19-18. The same thing happened in November, with charges on 11-5-18. As the 19th approaches, I am concerned about another charge. I request a refund of the $20 overcharged to my bank account for the months of September and October. I do not wish to be charged on the 19th as I was already charged this month. I'm only accepting a resolution providing a refund; otherwise, I will seek service from another provider.

Hello, I’m Jordan and I’m facing an unexpected situation that needs urgent attention. Recently, my young cousin used my debit card without permission and made a purchase on a website, which concerns me as I am unsure if debit cards can be used like credit cards in this manner. The main issues are that he used the wrong email address and I’m worried about the implications of the purchase even though the phone hasn’t been shipped or subjected to security checks yet. I’m seeking guidance on how to cancel the phone order and close the account. I appreciate your help and look forward to a prompt response as this situation is causing me a lot of stress. Thank you.

I mistakenly made two payments for my service last month, one as usual and another through my Google Play account. Initially, I used the free app service when connected to Wi-Fi. However, in January [redacted], I purchased a phone and signed up for a plan. I used my Yahoo account instead of the required Gmail for Google Play. When I reinstalled TextNow in early October to update it, Google Play identified me as a new app user, granting me a free month but then automatically charging me $29.99 using a card I had previously linked and forgotten about. I have already removed the card from Google Play, so even though my payment is due in December, I won't make an additional payment since I have already paid the amount by mistake.
