I am facing an issue with my TextNow account which now seems to have disappeared. I have evidence of my account, as I receive all texts on my email. However, I am unable to log in, even after trying to reset my password. The system claims my account doesn't exist. This situation is becoming frustrating. Can anyone assist me with this problem?

I need help resolving the issue with transferring my phone number from TextNow back to Straight Talk. I initially ported my Straight Talk number to TextNow but due to poor service in my area, I want to switch it back. It has been a month since I requested the port release pin, but I have not received it. Despite contacting both companies for assistance, I am facing difficulties. They mentioned a default pin of [redacted], but it does not work. I have been unsuccessful in getting the correct pin information to complete the transfer. How can I obtain the correct pin to successfully port my TextNow number back to Straight Talk? I have been struggling with this for a month and just need my phone to function properly.

Hello, I am a TextNow free app user and have been locked out of my account. My TextNow number is [redacted], which I've had for around 2 weeks without any issues. Today, while trying to change my password, I mistakenly used the wrong email. When attempting to log in with my original details, I received an error saying the account doesn't exist. My phone stopped working today. On the account, the names are listed as Jay or Darrol Bringhurst. I've encountered numerous issues with the phone. Firstly, I faced difficulties calling and texting. Additionally, my internet data was depleted unusually fast; I usually never had this issue. I noticed I only had one gigabyte to use for the whole month. Furthermore, the phone had trouble making calls. Strangely, I discovered that there are two phone numbers linked to my name. The first number is [redacted], and the other problematic one is [redacted]. I attempted a factory reset on the refurbished phone today when it wouldn't function correctly. I am at a loss and seek assistance to resolve these troubles.

I need assistance. I was chatting on TextNow when I got logged out and have been unable to log back in due to recurring username/password errors. Despite changing my password multiple times, the issue persists. This app is vital for me to text my daughter, so I rely on it and need it to function properly. Thank you. Revised on 5/28/18, there seems to be an update on the page stating the problem is resolved, but it is not fixed on my end. "TextNow May 27th, [redacted] - a day ago √ Fixed"

I have owned this phone for approximately 5 months. Despite setting up appointments for textnow to contact me, they never call and only send text messages claiming I missed their call. The hardware on my HTC Bolt is completely defective. The screen frequently goes black or displays distorted colors, making it challenging to use. I have stopped making monthly payments as the phone is no longer functional. I am aware of the one-year warranty for a replacement phone, but I have concerns. I do not want to wait over 30 days for a new device, and I do not wish to receive another Bolt phone. I feel I have wasted money on the phone and service that only worked well when connected to Wi-Fi.

Approximately a month ago, a friend kindly assisted me with paying my phone bill via TextNow. However, her bank flagged the transaction as suspicious, resulting in the payment being reversed. TextNow informed me that my friend needed to resolve the issue with her bank. Although she did this and the payment was recharged to her card, my service remains suspended. I am in need of phone service for work purposes, especially when Wi-Fi isn't available. Despite my patience, the situation has not been rectified yet, and I'm considering switching services. I would appreciate it if you could unsuspend my account or remove any restrictions. Thank you.

I had to create a new account to address the issue with my original account under the email [redacted] Today, between 4:15-5:15pm, I was logged out and couldn't log back in with my password. After resetting my password, I still couldn't access my account even though I followed the verification steps. I have tried numerous times to log in with no success. I've been a TextNow user for three years, and this experience has been frustrating. I use an Android LG G Stylo with TextNow version 5.47.0, and I plan to update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. I hope to get assistance with accessing my account soon. Thank you.

I am lodging a complaint regarding three unauthorized charges on my bank card within two days. I contacted customer service to dispute the charges and was informed that I could not receive a refund because they pertained to data usage. Two of these charges occurred on the same day, with the third on the following day. It seems illogical to have three separate charges for $60 each for a total of 6 GB of data, when a single lower charge could have sufficed. Despite my insistence that these were unauthorized transactions, I was denied assistance as they were related to data usage. This lack of resolution has led me to initiate a dispute with my bank, request a reversal of the charges, file a complaint with the Attorney General's office for further investigation as contact information is not readily available. Moreover, I have decided to discontinue using your service and will caution others against it. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

On 6.3.18, I am trying to regain access to my TextNow account at [redacted] with the number [redacted]. Despite efforts, I haven't made progress in a week. I had briefly accessed the account, but upon logging out, I encountered the same "Username/password did not match" issue. I received warnings about losing the new number assigned, which I don't want. Attempts to contact TextNow failed as the provided number led to recorded messages only. My previous complaint was marked as "FIXED" prematurely, without any resolution. I recently bought an LG phone and a month service plan from Text Now. However, when I tried to use the phone, it displayed the name "Brittany" and was not functional. Despite sending multiple texts to Text Now to resolve the issue, I did not receive any response. This made me frustrated because I wanted to add a second line. On the other hand, the Moto phone I purchased for my husband worked perfectly fine. I am still stuck with the non-functional LG phone and the payment issues on my account. I removed my payment information to prevent further charges for a phone that I cannot even use. I hope to find a solution to this problem soon.

I am experiencing issues with my LS-[redacted] or LG Tribute 5 phone. The WI-FI has never been reliable, and now it has completely stopped working. I am left using my limited data just to update apps because WI-FI is not functioning. I attempted to tether internet through Bluetooth, but this feature also has significant problems with this phone. I am frustrated that I am unable to speak with a customer service representative during your business hours, leading me to consider canceling my account. The Text Now account linked to this number is inactive as the phone is currently switched off, making it the only means of contact. Due to the lack of customer service accessibility, I refuse to pay the upcoming bill on the third and insist on canceling the service. I signed up for TextNow in January. Initially, I could view all call logs, but now I can't. I noticed calls made from my number and a missed call from an unknown number with an empty voicemail from +33 9 53 12 33 43. The app says "messages to this number are currently not supported." Also, I can hear an open line with background noise when I speak. Previously, I could redial a number from the button in the upper right corner, but that feature is now unavailable. Some numbers only ring without offering me the option to select, unlike on my mobile where I can choose options. I would appreciate it if this issue could be resolved. Thank you.

I am encountering some issues while trying to create a wireless account with TextNow. During the final step of the process, after inputting all my cellphone information, credit card details, billing address, and preferred cell number, I receive an error message prompting me to contact customer service. However, I am unable to find any means of contacting their support. When I call [redacted], I am directed to go online, and emails to support are met with a response stating that TextNow no longer provides support via email, recommending the use of phone or online chat support on their website. I am keen to utilize their service if it functions as described, but these hurdles are raising concerns about the legitimacy of the company.
