I purchased two different TextNow numbers to be locked in, but when I log into TextNow on my new phone, I am asked to choose a new number. I paid to secure the number [redacted] for 1 year with renewal in 10/[redacted]. My email address linked to my TextNow account is [redacted], and my name is Cerina Hurst. I need help recovering erased text messages due to someone hacking my account. My messages were deleted, and I need them back urgently. I use an iPhone and a couple of Android devices. Is it possible to retrieve them by doing a system restore back to the day of the messages? Or are the messages stored on the server, making it impossible to recover them? If retrieving them is an option, please help me with the steps.

I am having trouble logging into my TextNow account. I have my TextNow phone number but using the forgot password link hasn't worked. I'm unsure which email I used or if I signed in with my Apple ID, and I no longer have the iPhone I initially used to sign in. I'm also trying to access my Apple ID, but verification will take 6 days. Dealing with this has been quite stressful, as I hadn't anticipated so many problems when getting a new phone. Help Needed! Urgent matter! Snapchat changed my username without consent from Mgurgis14 to Mgurgis141 and erased all my photos! Following attempts to access my account using my email and phone number, they temporarily locked it yesterday. Today, I managed to login successfully using my phone number [redacted]. However, the account showed no followers or pictures. My Snapchat had over 20K subscribers, and I'm desperately requesting the company to restore my data. I have been a user of your app for six years, relying on it for my work as a teacher to stay updated on my students' assignments and attendance. Unfortunately, my account got randomly banned, and despite contacting support, I was simply told that my account violated the terms of use. Confused, I carefully reviewed the terms and found nothing that I had breached. After creating a new account, I was banned again in less than 6 hours. The support team's responses have been unhelpful, offering only generic explanations and providing no specific details about the violation. While I no longer seek to recover my old account, I still value the app's utility and would like to create a third account. However, I am concerned about facing another ban. As a law-abiding government employee in a public school, I am earnest in seeking assistance to understand where I went wrong. I hope to receive a personalized response to address this issue promptly.

I was asked to give a comment for other customers, why did they ask that? If you are reading this about this company, run, run, run. Do not waste your time unless you are looking for apologies and suggestions about how to pay for the information. The company "Get Human" is less than helpful. If you use TextNow for anything, find another company. They have no intentions of helping resolve any issues. For five days straight, I pleaded for help, and despite logging out and resetting passwords, they don't offer any options for resolution. It appears nobody cares. So before you endure my plight, don't get TextNow or ever deal with Get Human. Sincerely... Good morning, my situation might be different. The first email my account was under got deleted, and the other email's password was changed before I got signed out. I am unable to log in. If I put the username I thought, it takes me to choose a number. If you can see the email my last number was under, I can provide you with passwords, and once verified, can you reconnect me? I have been trying to resolve this for four days straight. Please let's get creative and find a timely solution.

I’ve had the same TextNow account for almost a year without changing my password. I have always used Face ID to log in without any problems. However, yesterday I couldn’t log in and was told my password was incorrect. I tried to reset it, but the reset password link didn’t come to my email as expected. This is the first time I’ve encountered an issue with this account. If there's a way to receive the reset password link at my email address to resolve this, I would appreciate the help. I am experiencing numerous issues with TextNow, including unexpected charges, technical problems, and misleading information. I was led to believe the service was free but ended up being billed monthly without my knowledge. I am frustrated by the lack of easily accessible customer support via phone, chat, or email. I work late hours which makes it difficult to reach support during their limited hours. Despite receiving a new SIM card and following all instructions, I am unable to use my phone, and the customer service experience has been extremely challenging. I feel let down by TextNow and regret using their services. My preferred method of contact is via text message at [redacted]. The situation has left me feeling overwhelmed and disappointed.

Each time I attempt to recover it, I am prompted to sign up for a new number due to not recalling the email linked to my account. I have several email options, such as [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], but they may be outdated. This is the fifth or maybe sixth time I've had to reconnect. I keep getting sent to that dollar text anytime now thing. Please don't do that, as I cannot do that. I don't have a dollar, and if I had dollars, I wouldn't be using the Obama freebie. I don't know what happened; my son borrowed my tablet, but not if I have to use my hands too much because they're disabled. Today, both hands have gone numb from being on this tablet all this time trying to prevent disconnections.

Recently, I downloaded a text conversation and noticed some discrepancies in the timestamps. I reside on the West Coast of North America (Vancouver, British Columbia) and follow PST. We recently adjusted our clocks forward by 1 hour on Sunday, March 13, [redacted], at 2:00 AM (which became 3:00 AM). The issue arises with a text sent on Saturday, March 12, [redacted]. My phone and the downloaded copy display the time as 7:41 PM (the downloaded copy shows UTC), while TextNow's website indicates it was sent at 6:41 PM (1 hour earlier, without UTC mentioned). In the next message sent on March 17, [redacted], all platforms (phone, downloaded copy, and website) show the time as 2:27 PM.

I had an issue on 3-4-22 when my Facebook account was hacked. I resolved it by changing passwords and email. Recently, my TextNow account prompted me to pick a new number without my request. I use TextNow daily and did not ask for this change. I'm concerned about the sudden switch and unsure why it happened. My previous number was [redacted]. I have had my TextNow number for over 2 years. It holds a lot of important contacts I only have in my TextNow history, not saved as contacts. A few days ago, my account logged out unexpectedly, and when I tried to log back in, it kept saying "wrong password," indicating a potential hack. Despite recovering my password, I couldn't access my old number. Instead, it repeatedly prompted me to create a new account. I tried signing in with my email or Google account, but it only led to creating a new account. This situation is causing me a lot of stress because I need those important contact numbers from my old TextNow history. I created a new TextNow number after being asked to make a new account multiple times.

I am contacting you regarding our use of your text now service for the past 2.5 years. We designated my text now number ([redacted]) as our customer support line due to the excellent service provided. Recently, I was surprised to receive an email stating that my account had violated your terms of use, resulting in the suspension of my account and number. I am unsure about the nature of this violation as we have always strived to comply. If an issue arose, please notify me so we can address it promptly to prevent recurrence. Additionally, it is possible a customer may have lodged a complaint. I urge you to thoroughly investigate before making any hasty decisions as customers may sometimes be mistaken. Hello. I registered for a TEXTNOW account using my email address "[redacted]" However, when attempting to log in, I discovered my email account is locked due to the need to verify my phone number. Unfortunately, the verification cannot be completed since there is a message stating "Messages to this number are currently not supported" in my TextNow account. I also purchased a "lock-in subscription" to retain the number. I urgently require access to both my email and phone number but am currently unable to do so. Please assist me. I am noticing a sudden increase in charges when calling domestic numbers as if they were international calls. The number I am dialing is out-of-state, and it has been the primary way of communicating with a long-time loved one for many years using this account.
