When selecting my phone number, I saw one that I liked, which was [redacted]. This particular number was the main factor that led me to pay the $4.99 per year fee. I proceeded with the payment process, including resetting my Google account password, and completed the transaction through Google Pay. Unfortunately, after paying, I realized that I did not receive the number I had initially chosen. I am disappointed as this specific number was the sole reason for my decision to make the payment.

I have noticed a duplicate charge in my payment history for locking in my number for the year through the Google Play Store using my Visa card linked to my account. I received two text messages from TextNow confirming the payment and stating that my phone number has been locked. Both messages are identical but were sent at different times, about 15 minutes apart. All confirmations and transaction records seem to be duplicated. This is my first and only purchase with TextNow, so I have no previous transaction history. I accidentally uninstalled the TextNow app on my phone. When I redownloaded it and logged in with my email, it assigned me a new number instead of my old one that I paid for a year's service for. My old number is linked to all my accounts, and I have the receipt for the service. I need help getting back my old number. Thank you.

I recently received a GSM SIM card after my network switched. But now, when I attempt to activate it, I'm being prompted to buy a new SIM card. My phone is compatible with TextNow service, and the SIM they provided should work, but it won't activate. Strangely, my old SIM also won't activate. I woke up this morning to find that my TextNow Account has been "terminated" without any explanation. Having used TextNow for several years without any issues, I was surprised by this sudden termination. It seems to have violated a guideline, but the reason remains unclear to me. I am puzzled by this action and am requesting an immediate reactivation of my account. I have had this account for a long time, and my number has remained constant. This, in itself, should warrant reactivation. I have always been a supportive user of your app and mean no harm. However, I find it unfair to be randomly terminated without being given a reason. All I am asking for is the restoration of my account with the attached email. Thank you.

My account was unexpectedly cancelled after being active for over two years without any changes in usage. Upon trying to log in through the app and web browser, I received a message stating that my account violated the terms of use and was no longer available. This disruption resulted in me missing an important appointment, as TextNow was functioning properly in the morning when I scheduled it, but by the afternoon, the other party couldn't reach me via TextNow. This incident was quite frustrating as I initially believed the person was a no-show, only to realize later that TextNow had suspended my account without prior notice. I hope the company can provide more transparency and assistance to users facing similar issues in the future.

I mistakenly signed up with the wrong email address. My correct email is [redacted] However, during the sign-up process, it registered as [redacted] Days ago, I saved my number through the Play Store or my Google Pay account under [redacted], and I still have the receipt. I am unable to log in as the password does not work, leading to a prompt to contact support. I suspect there may be multiple emails linked to the same number, [redacted]. I have activated my SIM card, but my phone is showing that it is not connected to any network. The advertisement for the SIM card mentioned that I wouldn't need to rely on Wi-Fi to make calls, but I've found that I can only make calls when connected to Wi-Fi. I need to be able to make calls without relying on Wi-Fi since I'm not always in a Wi-Fi zone. I believe TextNow should assist me in connecting my phone to their network as advertised, so I can stay connected to make calls without the need for Wi-Fi.

I am Lashon Butler. I canceled my service yesterday as I couldn't make outgoing calls. I paid $19.99 for a service I didn't receive and now I am requesting a refund to my debit card. My phone number is [redacted]. I didn't anticipate facing such difficulties activating something I couldn't use. I bought a TextNow SIM card, paid for unlimited calls, and experienced no results. I am unable to access my long-time TextNow phone number, [redacted]. I check it daily and recently confirmed my password, last updated in August. I keep detailed records for reference. I utilize two email addresses, a BellSouth one and a Gmail account. My notes show I used the Gmail, [redacted], but I receive reminders from TextNow at my BellSouth address, [redacted] If I cannot regain access to my number, which I have had for years, I may consider switching to another provider.
