I have been informed by Leadpages that Mailchimp can integrate my marketing campaign with other applications, provide sequencing, and function as an autoresponder. Specifically, I am interested in the sequencing feature which allows actions to be triggered based on prospects' interactions within a sales funnel. For example, if a prospect fails to click on the SVL after opting in to a landing page, I would like a reminder email to be sent after 4 hours. If the video is still not viewed, I want another email the following day, and so on. My question about sequencing is whether Mailchimp can detect if the prospect has watched the SVL at any point in the sequence and stop sending further emails accordingly. Additionally, I am curious if Mailchimp can redirect the prospect to a different series of emails/ SVLs based on their actions. I am keen to understand the capabilities of Mailchimp. Thank you.

I operate Up Tempo Fundraising, a fundraising company for Non-profit organizations, specifically Texas Public Schools. Our company has been expanding annually, and to ensure the efficiency of our email campaigns, I am considering the use of MailChimp. Our primary competitor, Snap Raise, has been successful in sending emails without utilizing email cleaning software, unlike our reliance on a third-party program, "Bulk Verify," for this purpose. However, our current software removes valid subscriber emails labeled as "unknown" along with the invalid ones, resulting in the unintentional exclusion of subscribers who should remain on our list. This challenge is to maintain a low bounce rate. I seek recommendations for alternative email cleaning software to address this issue or insight into Snap Raise's method of managing their email lists without cleaning them.

Dear Sirs, A week ago, we initiated our first ad for our upcoming campaign next week. However, after 5 days, we received an email stating that our ad was canceled due to the presence of too many words in the picture. Our ad actually contains no words but only numbers as it is related to an online Advent Calendar. Despite this, in an effort to rectify the situation, we replaced the number picture with an ordinary one that also does not include any words. Surprisingly, once again, we received an email claiming that our picture had too many words, even though there are none. We have paid in full for two ads, both of which have been canceled erroneously. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find a way to contact Customer Service on the Mailchimp website. We eagerly await your response.

I've been receiving email notifications regarding an issue with my store's email integration setup that prevented a subscription from going through to MailChimp. The error message stated: "Something went wrong, please try again later." This occurred on Jan 7th, [redacted], at 4:54 PM. The failed subscription details include the newsletter, email address, first name, and the IP address it originated from. Some common causes of email integration problems are outlined, such as invalid email addresses, changed lists or list fields on MailChimp, incompatible field sync, service interruptions, and suspended or expired accounts. It's mentioned that the failed subscription won't automatically be retried, so if I want to keep the subscription, I'll have to manually input it into MailChimp. I also mentioned my website URL.

We recently transitioned to Mailchimp at The Polish Pottery Outlet. I notified my "Online" Segment customers about our Cyber Monday ad, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 25th at noon (MST). However, after Cyber Monday, many Gmail customers reported receiving the email in their Spam folders, impacting our results significantly. I am seeking clarification on why this occurred and how to prevent it from happening in the future.

I hired a marketing and email freelancer to assist with creating a web landing page for my health and wellness business and program. An email I received stated: Mailchimp cannot serve as the email provider for my account under the username [redacted] because my industry's content conflicts with their Acceptable Use Policy (mailchimp.com/legal/acceptable_use) or poses a substantial risk to their deliverability. Although I ensured my content follows the policy, the freelancer responded but we haven't received any further communication after a few days. Is there anything we can do to improve communication and resolve this issue?

Hello, I have a free account. Yesterday, I tried to send a newsletter that I had created by copying an old newsletter and updating the information, as I usually do. Unfortunately, the changes did not save, and the old email was sent out instead. To resend the corrected newsletter, I attempted to subscribe, but encountered an issue due to having just over 1,[redacted] contacts. I prefer not to subscribe due to the low number of contacts. The updated newsletter with the correct information is ready, and I am seeking an exemption to resend it immediately without subscribing, as the content is time-sensitive. Your assistance in waiving the 24-hour restriction would be greatly appreciated.

We are experiencing difficulty resizing the photos in our recent newsletter. A system message indicates, "We are working on a custom resizing fix—for now, let’s auto resize." Clicking on the "auto resize" link directs us to a screen to crop the photo but doesn't provide the option to enter specific resizing measurements. With more than a dozen photos, mostly 2-3K in size, in our newsletter, we worry about potential issues with email services.

We have had numerous issues with MailChimp recently, ranging from font and formatting problems to difficulties adding photos and links, as well as the page freezing altogether. This has significantly delayed our campaign creation process, leading to financial losses. After reaching out to MailChimp last week to address these concerns and warn about switching to another email marketing platform if not resolved promptly, I have received no response from their customer service team. This lack of communication is only adding to my frustration. I have been a loyal MailChimp user for almost 8 years, initially with ABS Global and now with Certco Inc. I truly prefer to stay with MailChimp, but if this issue persists, I will have to look into alternatives such as Constant Contact or Active Campaign. I have encountered difficulties in resizing my image to fit into the auto-size segment using the image editing application. Despite multiple attempts and over 5 hours spent, I haven't been successful. I would greatly appreciate assistance with adjusting the image to fit correctly. I've relied on the pixel count provided by the auto resize function, but upon uploading, the site resizes my file incorrectly, making it challenging to fit into the crop selection. This task is essential to complete today, and I find it frustrating that this seemingly simple aspect is causing such trouble. I kindly request prompt assistance to resolve this issue. Additionally, I am eager to know when the image editing function will be available again to prepare for upcoming projects.

Hello, I recently hired a freelancer to help me set up my online business, including creating a Mailchimp account. However, after deciding not to continue working with the freelancer, I found that the login credentials provided were no longer working. I reached out to the freelancer, but he denies making any changes. I tried to reset the password, but I no longer have access to the associated Outlook email account. We have implemented an automation campaign for our new customers. The campaign includes a series of emails sent over a 3-week period. The final email is programmed to be delivered one year after the customer receives the first email, acknowledging their one-year anniversary as a customer. Our query revolves around whether the customer must stay on the "New Customer" list, where the automation is active, for the entire year to receive the anniversary email. Or, if we transition them to the "Contacts" list from the "New Customer" list, would they still receive the anniversary email. Thank you.

Good evening, I am seeking clarity about your platform as we consider upgrading to a Grow or Pro account. Currently, we are using a free account for newsletter programming and have encountered challenges with managing new templates and models. When creating a template and handling the "content image group," we can only place images in one box, instead of being able to align text and buttons. We have worked around this by stacking boxes vertically to ensure the layout remains consistent across mobile views. If we opt for a predefined model, we face limitations in modifying columns, restricting our ability to customize layouts. I am curious about your approach to bulk contact uploading and whether any technical constraints or time restrictions apply. Regarding integration with Magento and Magento 2 shop catalogs, can this be done with a free account? Additionally, is it feasible to categorize by store within Magento on your platform? Thank you.

After importing my personal contacts from Gmail and sending them invitations, I was prepared for some unsubscribes. I took the proactive step of explaining how they were added to the list, with the intention of refining it to interested parties. However, Mailchimp suspended my account due to these unsubscribes and some spam reports. Now, I have to delete the pre-screened list I curated and essentially start over. Additionally, I had compiled another list of subscribers for my newsletter, including my direct customers, but now I can't reach them either. Is there any way to override the system's decision, considering the effort I've put into organizing and explaining my mailing lists? I am willing to provide a copy of the initial email detailing the list's creation process. I hope that Mailchimp's automatic removal of unsubscribers and hard bounces means I now have an accurate and acceptable list moving forward.

Hello, I am the owner of Total Body Contouring in Canberra, ACT, Australia. We recently faced some challenges caused by a former employee who has now left. Unfortunately, we are having trouble accessing our Mailchimp account that she set up. The username and password provided do not work, and the SMS verification goes to her mobile, which we cannot access. Since fall [redacted], I've been updating our membership file with an Excel file from our database. The file has remained unchanged and worked well until recently. Lately, I've been unable to update the list despite creating multiple export files to troubleshoot. The issue arises when the check mark I place in the "I understand" box disappears right after, preventing me from selecting the NEXT option to complete the process. This problem has persisted despite multiple attempts. Any suggestions on how to solve this would be appreciated.

I am writing because I am concerned that my personal address was mistakenly included in a newsletter sent to over [redacted] recipients without my knowledge. As a new user of Mailchimp, I am struggling to understand why my address was shared in this manner. I value my privacy, especially because I have a young child at home, and I never intended for my address to be made public. I am currently taking steps to secure a PO Box, but I am worried about the potential safety implications of this mistake. It is unclear to me why Mailchimp requires this information and why it was not explicitly stated that it would be included in every email. I hope that there are no repercussions due to this oversight.
