Lufthansa canceled my flight #[redacted] on the day of departure to the UK (May 17). During the rebooking for the 18th, my Premium Economy seat was initially lost. After resolving the issue at YVR, I was assigned a middle seat in a row of four, causing inconvenience when needing to get out. Additionally, at Frankfurt for my next flight (LH [redacted]), I had to walk a long distance and was advised to book a ride in advance. The subsequent flight to MAN was delayed and spent an hour on the tarmac. On my return flight, my Premium Economy seat allocation was changed from the side to another middle seat.

Urgent and important issue: Today, Lufthansa was supposed to deliver our delayed luggage to our current temporary residence, a hotel in Rome. Inside the bags are all our medicines, including critical ones for our 60-day trip such as diabetic, blood pressure, and cholesterol medication. This is a very serious matter as we cannot proceed without our medications. Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach anyone at Lufthansa for assistance as our suitcases are currently with the delivery service. Tomorrow we are boarding a cruise, and it seems unlikely we can reroute our luggage to our next destination in a different country. Our Rome baggage claim number is FCOLH50962. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Cristina Rodriguez.

Dear Lufthansa Customer Service,
I am writing to report my missing baggage. My name is Constandinos Vavagiakis, and my itinerary number is LX8CF0. I checked a large green duffle bag at Newark, NJ Airport on Wednesday, June 1st, on Flight United 30 to Munich, connecting to Lufthansa [redacted] on Thursday, June 2nd. After multiple flight delays and cancellations, I eventually traveled on United [redacted] to Frankfurt on Thursday, June 2nd, connecting to Lufthansa [redacted] on June 4th to Palermo, Italy. Upon returning to Newark Airport on Wednesday, June 15th, I provided my baggage claim ticket number 0[redacted]13 to a United agent who informed me that Lufthansa had my bag with file reference FRALH13426 dated June 11, [redacted]. However, when I contacted Lufthansa, they claimed they had no record of it, while United stated Lufthansa was responsible for my luggage. I am seeking assistance in retrieving my bag and would appreciate guidance on the necessary steps to take.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please reach out to me via email at [redacted] or by phone at [redacted].
Sincerely,
Constandinos Vavagiakis

Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Luca Seidel, I am 17 years old and attend the 11th grade at a high school. I have been interested in civil aviation for as long as I can remember, which is why I am now writing a seminar paper on Winglets as part of my W-seminar. Since your fleet has several types of Winglets, I am certain you can answer the following questions for me:
What average fuel savings do you achieve through Winglets?
Apart from the fuel savings effect, are there any other benefits for your company?
Are conversions of aircraft from without Winglets to with Winglets worthwhile?
Do Winglets reveal unexpected side effects, such as additional maintenance costs?
I am aware that as a company, you cannot disclose internal information. I thank you in advance for your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Luca Seidel

I traveled from Zagreb to Punta Cana via Frankfurt on June 11. Despite booking with Lufthansa, my flight to Punta Cana was operated by Eurowings Discover. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in Punta Cana, my checked bag did not arrive. The baggage reclaim staff were unhelpful and condescending, taking our contact information but failing to provide any follow-up. Despite my efforts to contact them, I received no assistance. I reported the missing baggage to Lufthansa online and received a file number. However, when attempting to track my bag, I was informed that Eurowings was not part of the tracking system. After 6 days, my bag was delivered to my hotel, without any notification from the airline. This lack of care and communication from the airline and airport staff left me feeling neglected and inconvenienced. As a frequent traveler to Punta Cana, I expect better customer service and care. The experience has made me question whether to continue using Lufthansa/Eurowings for my travels.

My family was booked on flight LH [redacted] from Turin to Munich on 26th June [redacted], scheduled for 17:05, but departed at 20:30, arriving in Munich at 21:40. Due to the delay, they missed their connecting flight LH0586 to Cairo, which was rescheduled to depart at 21:25. They had to spend the night at the airport with no assistance until your company provided them with a new ticket to Paris departing at 12:30. From Paris, they flew to Cairo at 16:00, arriving at 20:30 on 27th June. Unfortunately, two bags were lost, and my children fell ill after spending the night in the airport. I am requesting an apology and compensation for the lost bags and the difficulties my family faced due to the situation with your company.

It has been almost a year and we have received no response from the team. Our travel experience was extremely stressful, with delayed flights, missing connecting flights, having to be rebooked, deplaning on the tarmac due to a decommissioned plane, and our baggage with our daughter's belongings going missing for days. To add to that, items were stolen from our luggage despite arriving at the airport four hours early. We were shocked by the poor attitude of your team when seeking information and assistance at the airport. Despite having flown business class with Lufthansa multiple times in the past, we were disappointed with the service on this trip. We are seeking a refund for the delays and missed flights, as well as compensation for the stolen items. Flight Booking Number: P56V66 Tracer Number: YYZAC70581/17SEP21/0156GMT.

Hello,
Upon our return from Nouméa with booking reference JJD9CM, we reserved and paid [redacted] € (2x100 €) for seats with extra legroom on flight Tokyo/Zurich n° LX161.
When we got on the plane, the seats assigned did not match the paid service but were regular seats.
We informed the cabin manager of flight LX161 about this issue, but since the plane was full, we couldn't be reassigned other seats.
Nevertheless, the cabin manager reported this discrepancy through your flight feedback forms.
Therefore, I kindly request the reimbursement of the [redacted] € for the extra legroom seats we did not receive.
Thank you in advance, and I am available if needed.
Best regards

Dear [redacted],
I am writing to address a significant issue I encountered during my recent Lufthansa flights. On June 28th, my journey from Florence to Dublin via Frankfurt was marred by severe disruptions.
The initial flight delay from Florence to Frankfurt caused significant inconvenience. Subsequently, the connecting flight to Dublin was also delayed, leading to undue pressure on passengers to reach their connecting gates promptly.
Upon arrival in Dublin, it was distressing to discover that a substantial amount of luggage had been mistakenly left behind in Frankfurt. The process of reporting the missing luggage at the Dublin airport was arduous, leaving me perplexed as to why Lufthansa had not proactively reached out to assist affected passengers.
This unfortunate incident has marred what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday in Italy, replacing it with stress and uncertainty regarding the return of my belongings. The delays and complications at the airport resulted in a significantly delayed hotel check-in, disrupting my plans.
I am seeking an update on the status of my luggage, including details on its shipment to my home address and the measures Lufthansa intends to take to resolve this distressing situation.
Please refer to the following information:
Delayed baggage claim number: DUBLH23669
Luggage tag number: [redacted]
Phone number: +[redacted]02
My luggage contains essential medication and personal items that I urgently require.
Warm regards,
I.

I faced an issue with my delayed bag on a Lufthansa flight from Berlin to Marseille via Frankfurt. My bag was found after a night in Marseille, but I then had to change my temporary address to Paris. The current status indicates that my luggage was sent to Paris on June 28th. However, since then, there have been no updates despite my departure from Paris. I am unable to modify the address on the delayed report and seek clarity on whether my luggage is still on the right path. I kindly request feedback from Lufthansa, ensuring they send it to my home address in Berlin. I urge Lufthansa to provide updates on the status of my bag and confirm the new delivery address.

My initial booking 4B3J4B to Basel from LAX via Frankfurt was cancelled. I was rescheduled for a flight on July 1 with United to Strasbourg via Chicago and Frankfurt on flight J57VBJ. Upon arriving for United flight UA [redacted] at 8:35 am today, there was no record of our booking under the provided confirmation number or our names and passport details. Despite trying various combinations, the ticket agent could not locate our information in the United reservation system. However, the return flight from Basel via Munich to LAX was found in the system.
I am requesting a full refund for the tickets purchased for Mr. D. Muller and myself, A. Ley. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, causing me to potentially miss important events in France and my family reunion. I hope to receive a prompt refund so I can make alternative arrangements for the remainder of my vacation.

On the 28th of June, I had a flight booked with Lufthansa from Manchester, UK to Athens, Greece, including a layover in Munich with flights LH2501 & LH1754. However, on the same day, I received an email notifying me that my flight from Munich to Manchester (LH2500) on the 1st of July was cancelled.
The options provided were to either accept a refund, reschedule, or use the ticket later. I chose to accept a refund and booked an alternative flight with Aegean Airlines from Athens to Manchester. I was refunded £86.40 on the 30th of June.
I am confused about the refund amount as my original flight cost £[redacted]. According to EU law, shouldn't the full amount be refunded since the connecting flight was cancelled? Additionally, I am disappointed with the lack of alternatives provided as I had to cut short a business conference and purchase an extra ticket to avoid being stranded in Munich.

My family of five was supposed to return to the UK from Lisbon on Saturday, 2nd July. Unfortunately, our connection flight was missed due to a significant delay in the Lisbon flight. This resulted in our family being split into two separate flights. My two sons, one of whom has a medical condition, were affected by this. One son was scheduled on flight LH908, which was canceled last minute. He's been stranded in the airport for over 24 hours now. His alternative flight, Frankfurt to LHR [redacted], is booked for tomorrow morning, but his medication has run out due to the delays, amounting to nearly 48 hours of travel by tomorrow morning. Urgently requesting assistance to bring him home from Frankfurt to London without further delays. He has group 4 boarding currently assigned. It's crucial to prioritize bringing him back home. Despite our efforts, we couldn't get help to rearrange our return flights as a family. Reference: JQBOIF. Please assist in getting Ryan V. and Robin V. back home as soon as possible, given Ryan's medical condition. Thank you.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing regarding Lufthansa Flight VE5R97 from Manchester to Yerevan, Armenia for both the outward and return journey.
Flight Details:
Passengers: Richard and Mark H.
Outward Flight: LH1560
Return Flight: LH0940
The Manchester flight arrived late at Frankfurt Airport, leaving us with only 50 minutes to transfer to the Yerevan flight, resulting in a delay and inconvenience. Accommodation was provided in a remote area with limited food options, causing a 24-hour delay impacting business meetings and bookings. The return journey faced further delays, and re-booking was poorly handled by discourteous staff in Frankfurt. These numerous issues were exacerbated by my brother's cancer condition, significantly adding to the stressful situation. I am requesting compensation in line with your customer rights policy and look forward to your response.
In summary, your duty of care towards customers, health, well-being, and provision of essentials during delays were not met during these occurrences.
I anticipate your prompt reply.
Sincerely,
Mark H., MBE

Hello,
I booked a flight from Düsseldorf to Bergamo on 07/14/22 at 6:25 PM. Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled. I was given three options: 1. Depart 8 hours earlier (not possible). 2. Receive a full ticket refund. 3. Make a new booking. I chose Option 2. This entailed a change of more than 2 hours. Initially, I was unsure if the return flight on 07/29/22 from Bergamo to Düsseldorf was also cancelled. Today, I received a refund only for the tax, which is unacceptable. The booking number is KAIXCF. I await your response.
P.S. I have been waiting for over an hour to speak with someone at the call center. Is this normal? What is happening with Lufthansa?
Best regards,
Linda Barlassina

On Friday, July 1st, [redacted], my luggage did not connect to my flight. At the luggage reclaim, there was only one overwhelmed woman handling the needs of many people. She advised us to file a missing luggage report online, which I did. Shortly after filing online, I received an update that my luggage was located and scheduled to arrive at Newark Airport from Frankfurt on July 3rd, [redacted]. However, the status remained unchanged, indicating they were still awaiting the luggage, until this morning, July 7th. Now, when I check the status, it shows an error message stating no record was found with my reference number and family name. I am currently on hold with customer service, trying to resolve this issue.

I have a credit with Lufthansa (booking reference: W5SSKE) for a flight I missed during lockdown. Despite Lufthansa confirming they would honor the credit, I've been struggling to rebook through Expedia. Communication between the two companies has been challenging, leading to significant emotional stress as my flight approaches. The situation has caused me distress as my husband and I have plans to reunite with family. I've tried to resolve the issue by contacting both Lufthansa and Expedia, but have faced hurdles and lack of progress. The uncertainty is overwhelming, and I seek assistance in resolving this before additional costs accrue. I am willing to pay extra fees within reason, but the current situation is causing undue strain. Assistance in lodging a formal complaint and achieving a resolution would greatly alleviate this ongoing ordeal.
