During a recent business trip from Hannover, Germany to the United States via Frankfurt and Dulles Airport, an error occurred with my luggage. At the airport, the attendant mistakenly tagged my bag under the name "Kurt Neff" instead of mine. Despite her quick attempt to rectify the mistake, my luggage was not available upon arrival in the U.S. Not having my belongings has caused me to miss crucial business meetings, resulting in financial losses. My missing bag contains approximately $3,[redacted] worth of suits, ties, a Rolex watch, and important work documents. The ongoing situation is impacting my work and finances. I am inquiring if any compensation can be provided to help alleviate the financial burden caused by this luggage mishap.

My return date with Lufthansa was initially set for the 24th of May. I attempted to rebook through the Lufthansa website and paid for the change on the 23rd of May, but the system did not process my request and got blocked. On the 24th, when I went to the airport to modify the date, the Lufthansa staff directed me to the call center as they couldn't make changes in the commercial system at the airport. Unfortunately, the call center agent was unhelpful and rude, speaking loudly and confirming there was no availability. This experience left me disappointed as I've been a loyal Lufthansa customer for years. The staff at Lufthansa in Algiers were supportive and suggested I contact the call center again to explain the situation in hopes of resolving the issue and not losing my ticket.

Subject: Correction Needed on Ticket Reservation
Dear Customer Service Team,
I wish to address an error on my booking with the name appearing incorrectly. Despite booking through Expedia with reservation code 2Z2P6F, my last name Quetschke is missing, only displaying my middle names - Ralph Werner Josef. Unfortunately, after speaking with Expedia, I learned they are unable to rectify this due to regulations set by Lufthansa.
Attached to this email is a copy of my passport for your reference. My trip is scheduled to commence on May 29th from YCD. I kindly ask for your assistance in updating my ticket with the correct name Ralph Werner Josef Quetschke.
If changing the name is not feasible under the existing policies, could I be provided with a credit from Lufthansa to rebook the flight? Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Best regards,
R. Quetschke

We were initially set to return to the US on May 28th. Despite being fully vaccinated and boosted, my wife and I tested positive for Covid on May 27th, a day before our planned flight from Florence, Italy to Seattle, US. Our symptoms began after arriving in Italy on May 17/18.
We have rescheduled our departure for June 1. We have been symptom-free for several days, have no fever, and have a doctor in Florence willing to examine us and provide a recovery document confirming when our symptoms started and our current symptom-free status. While the CDC suggests 10 days since symptom onset, we seek clarification if we can fly with a recovery document from a doctor documenting our symptom-free status and symptom onset date.

I have an issue with my flight ticket booked through Expedia. Instead of my full last name "Quetschke," only my middle name is on the ticket. I have attached a copy of my passport for reference. The booking code is *Z*P*F. Expedia mentioned they are unable to make changes at the request of Lufthansa. I need my last name updated to Quetschke before my trip starting on May **th from YCD. If changing the name is not possible, I am seeking a credit from Lufthansa for a rebooking. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ralph Quetschke.

Request 1:
I have made two flight requests. Firstly, my flight itinerary includes a trip from Los Angeles to Lisbon on 5/27/22, which has been completed. Secondly, there is an open leg from Madrid to Frankfurt scheduled for 6/6/22 and then from Frankfurt to Los Angeles on 7/30/22. I recently received a flight change notification from Lufthansa stating a new schedule from Frankfurt to Las Vegas instead of Los Angeles. I am now looking for confirmation of my ticket from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and request flight credit for that segment.
Request 2:
I am seeking to add mileage points to the Asiana Airlines Mileage Program, which is part of the Star Alliance. The membership numbers are as follows:
A. Kwangyul Choi - [redacted]88
B. Ludia Mi Choi - [redacted]64
Thank you.

My spouse and I had a flight booked from Manchester, UK to Bahrain with Lufthansa flight LH941, Airline reference 11WXJ5, scheduled for April 1, [redacted]. When we arrived at the airport, we were informed that our booking had been changed to the following day, causing us inconvenience as we had arrangements for the airport lounge and a taxi. The next day we traveled to Frankfurt on flight LH941, and upon arrival, we discovered that our connecting flight to Bahrain, LH [redacted], had either departed or was canceled. After waiting in a long queue, we were offered a choice to stay in a hotel and take the flight to Bahrain the following day. The staff member assisting us was very kind and handled the situation well despite encountering rude passengers. I booked through Opodo and have reached out to them without a satisfactory resolution. They claim I am not eligible for compensation, but based on EU Law, I believe I am entitled to it. Looking forward to your response. - Mrs. PT and Mr. GT

Upon my arrival at Frankfurt airport, my luggage was missing. Despite informing the staff, they seemed uninterested. I was only provided with three out of four bags when I reached Amsterdam after three days. Upon departing from Munich airport, I reported the issue. S. G.'s grandmother was notified via email about the bag's delay. I urge the airline to compensate me for the inconvenience and the purchases I made due to this luggage mishandling during my travels between airports.

On February 24, [redacted], I contacted the 1-[redacted] number listed on the Lufthansa website to inquire about reclining seats in business class. I unintentionally spoke with a man with a strong Indian accent who claimed to be a Lufthansa agent. He assisted with my reservations, including an upgrade for the long flights. Unfortunately, this led to a fraudulent billing incident. Subsequently, I received a credit card statement showing excessive charges. After disputing the agent fee, Chase resolved the issue. However, my girlfriend later secured the same ticket at a significantly lower price. This troubling experience raises concerns regarding phone security and potential internal fraud within Lufthansa. Despite my loyalty to the airline, I am unsure if I can trust them in the future. I faced another unpleasant interaction with a different individual when contacting the 1-[redacted] number, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation into these issues. I possess emails from the fraudulent individual and remain vigilant about the situation. I urge Lufthansa to address this security breach promptly. My booking code is SKBYKU, and my ticket number is [redacted][redacted].

Our flight scheduled for June 1st from Cluj to Munich got canceled. Consequently, we were rebooked for the following day with a 2-hour delay, causing us to miss our connection to Washington D.C. from Munich. We had to arrange a new flight with the final destination being Charlotte, NC, and RDU. Additionally, we had to cover the cost of staying at the Ninety Nine hotel in Munich. The airline representative advised us to contact Lufthansa for a refund for expenses like lodging, transportation, and covid test renewals. However, I am struggling to submit these expenses online as instructed. I attempted to call Lufthansa's customer service line without success. Any assistance offered would be highly appreciated.
Thank you,
A.

Dear Customer Service Team,
I am Samuel Grab, urgently seeking assistance in locating my missing luggage.
Following my flight LH0964 from Frankfurt to Edinburgh on June 5th, [redacted], I was informed that my luggage, associated with booking reference P6LM35, had been delayed and entrusted to the courier service ths couriers for delivery on June 6th. Unfortunately, the expected delivery did not occur, and attempts to reach the couriers via their website and phone have been unsuccessful. I am deeply concerned that my belongings, including essential clothing and a valuable study laptop, may have been misplaced or stolen.
I kindly request immediate information on the whereabouts of my luggage. If delivery is not feasible, I ask that it be returned to the airport for my retrieval. Confirmation of the status of my luggage, linked to delayed luggage reference EDILH10400 and family name GRAB, will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your prompt assistance.

Good afternoon,
My boyfriend and I booked a flight from San José, Costa Rica to Frankfurt (TBE62E) for May 29th to June 4th. The experience was disappointing as we couldn't check in through the app and were seated separately on the return flight from Frankfurt to Mexico, despite booking together. We expected better service for the high price paid. No assistance was available at the airport to change seats. I will consider flying with United next time, as they are much cheaper. Out of the four flights booked, only one was with Lufthansa, and I was unaware of Euro Wings.

Hello,
My son, a 12-year-old coming from Brazil to visit me in Spain, will be traveling unaccompanied as I have been residing abroad for some time now. This won't be his first time flying alone. I purchased a flight ticket for him from São Paulo to Bilbao with a stopover in Frankfurt. After buying the ticket, I contacted LH service center to secure the UM special service, but I have encountered difficulties as LH seems to have canceled the service for flights with stopovers, even if they are both LH flights.
Although attendants mentioned he could travel without the service as he is old enough to manage, I am concerned about his transfer in Frankfurt. I inquired about special procedures for unaccompanied minors, but was informed there is none. I reached out to LH customer service via email but have not received a response yet. With the flight approaching soon, I am uncertain about how to ensure a safe journey for my son.

I had a flight from Brussels to Manchester UK on June 5, [redacted], with booking reference S6XFIB, flight number SN2177. It was my connecting flight, scheduled at 16:45 after arriving from Munich. Despite the flight not showing on the departures board, after 2 hours of waiting and being informed the flight was on, we later found out it was canceled. The next available flight to Manchester was overbooked, so we accepted a flight to Birmingham via Frankfurt. The challenge was then getting from Birmingham to Manchester. A friend helped us out, driving us the [redacted] miles between airports for which I gave £[redacted] in appreciation. I am seeking reimbursement of the £[redacted] due to the flight cancellation causing this expense, and I would like to know why we were not informed of the cancellation in Munich. Additionally, I hope to receive financial compensation for the time, calls, and emails spent trying to resolve this issue.

We traveled with Lufthansa from MIA to Frankfurt to AMS on May 16. Our flight was delayed by 6 1/2 hours due to a severe storm in Miami. Unfortunately, our luggage was left out in the rain which damaged my clothes. I have photos of the items that need replacement and our cruise line, Scenic, has a record of the damaged clothing. I am seeking reimbursement for the cost of replacing these items. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Joan Kaplan

Dear Lufthansa Team,
I am writing to follow up on our refund request regarding the booking code WA8BVY.
Over the past year, we have diligently submitted the requested power of attorney, made numerous calls, only to encounter inconsistent information and changing narratives from your staff. During my recent call on 01/19/[redacted] at 12:43 MST, your team stated that the $1,[redacted].02 credit was valid until 03/19/[redacted] for booking. However, upon calling back on 03/16/[redacted] at 7:37 MST, we were informed that the voucher had actually expired in February. This lack of consistency and professionalism in your business practices has been incredibly frustrating. I have personally spent over 6 hours trying to reach a resolution, not including time spent communicating with my wife and exchanging emails. I kindly request a response by the end of this week, 06/17.
Thank you.
