I am experiencing difficulty logging into my Instagram account. The email I originally used is now locked. I have updated my new email and phone number on Instagram, but I am being prompted to enter a code sent to my inaccessible original email when attempting to log in. Hello! I have my Instagram username and password, access to the connected email, and Facebook account linked to my Instagram. However, I can't receive a login code sent to my old phone number. Someone on Instagram scammed me and now has control of my accounts, using my name and face to deceive others. They demand money and videos to return access, which I provided, but they have not returned anything. This situation is embarrassing, and my parents are unable to assist me. Unfortunately, Instagram's support options do not allow me to resolve this issue. I believe Instagram should assist me in reclaiming my accounts to prevent further misuse of my identity. It's frustrating that immediate help is not readily available on the platform.

Dear Team, I have been repeatedly trying to regain access to my hacked account, which occurred on 7.1.22. Despite my efforts, the hacker changed my email, etc., making it very challenging for me to recover it. Due to the significant investment in advertising over the years, I am deeply frustrated by this breach. I am considering legal action if I do not receive a satisfactory resolution soon. Hello, I am facing a significant issue with my Instagram account. It seems to have been blocked or hacked, but I am unsure of the exact situation. Whenever I try to log in, I keep receiving a message saying that my account's information will be deleted. I am instructed to wait for about 24 hours to see if I can regain access, but it has been nearly 24 hours already with no progress. I was logged out of my Instagram account, and now it's asking me to confirm with a number I don't recognize. Even though I have two-factor authentication set up with my email and mobile, it's not letting me log in. I tried using the login link Instagram provided, but it's still asking me to verify this unfamiliar number. Even when I choose to verify through email or mobile, it keeps redirecting me to this strange number.

I recently received an email informing me that my email address was removed from my account. When I tried to log in, I discovered that another email and phone number were linked to my account. Someone has accessed my account for nearly 24 hours and has been sending messages to my loved ones asking for money. Additionally, I have submitted numerous selfies to Instagram, but they are denying me access despite being the person in all the pictures on the account.

Hello, a few months ago I changed the password on my account: vzai_mno_suka: then I changed my smartphone and now I can't log in to my account because it is linked to a number ([redacted]) that is no longer valid, but it is the only way to recover my account. I believe my account was compromised on 1/8/22. A friend I hadn't spoken with in a while contacted me, requesting assistance with logging into her old Instagram account. I provided her with my number as she claimed to have used hers for multiple accounts. Due to our history, I trusted her and shared the link to reset her password. Unfortunately, her account was hacked, and now my account's password and username were changed using that same link. Is there any way to resolve this situation?

The associated phone number was altered, preventing me from regaining control or resetting the password. Despite reporting the old account, I recently received a follow request, indicating it's still being used. I fear the person using it may misuse my posted photos. An account messaged me asking for help with a code. They sent a link to my account, and without thinking, I shared the code with them. Now, I've been locked out of my account and realize I've been hacked. The link they sent was supposedly from Instagram about resetting my password, but I'm not sure how they did it since they didn't have my phone number. I've been unable to access my account all day. I tried to reset my password through the "forgot password" option, but I can't receive the reset link because they changed my personal details. They've also sent the same message to my followers in an attempt to hack them. They posted a strange Bitcoin-related image and altered my username. Moreover, they threatened my sister, demanding £[redacted] for me to regain access to my account. I'm at a loss on what steps to take next.

I've noticed that I need to reset my password frequently. I realized this might be due to using some tracking apps without thinking about them. My phone number is +49 [redacted], and my email is available on my Instagram page. Every time I reset my password, I keep getting a prompt saying to confirm my email with an email address that is not mine. This email that pops up does not belong to me; the email associated with the account is different. Despite successfully using Face ID multiple times, this email confirmation issue persists.
