I recently unfollowed around [redacted] people in about 10 minutes on Instagram. I did this by selecting "least interacted with" in my following list and unfollowing them. However, Instagram mistakenly flagged my actions as being done through a third-party software. As a result, my account has been restricted, and I am unable to access it. I believe I have been banned just for trying to unfollow users quickly. Prior to getting logged out, I could still like posts. I really just want to regain access to my Instagram account.

I am experiencing an issue with not receiving notifications for likes, messages, photos, and videos from my followers on Instagram directly to my phone. I am only receiving notifications for reactions and replies to my stories. I have already checked the in-app and phone notification settings, restarted my phone, updated the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared all the data, and even tried using another device, but the problem persists.

I use my account to share information and stories, and it has taken a lot of time and energy to build it. Unfortunately, I can no longer reach out to my friends and family. I need help accessing my old Instagram account as I forgot the password. The email associated is linked to multiple accounts so when I try to reset, I receive a link for a different account. Also, the phone number on file is inactive, so I can't get the reset link. I am really eager to get back into this account, especially because I want to reclaim the username I chose for it.

I believe that someone hacked a girl's account from my school and started contacting me using her account. Initially, I didn't suspect a scam as I knew the girl personally, so I foolishly shared my phone number to assist with her account. Unfortunately, the hacker used my number to gain access to my account, pretended to be me, and posted pictures promoting a scam app while asking for money from my contacts and strangers. To make matters worse, the hacker now has my number, email, and pictures as they are linked to my Instagram posts. I urgently need assistance with this situation. Regaining control of my account is crucial to me, especially since one of my aspirations was to reach 1,[redacted] followers like my sisters and friends, and I was close at [redacted] before being hacked. My Instagram account was hacked, and the email and phone number linked to it were changed. Despite getting a code through "More Help" when trying to reset my password, the two-step authentication codes I entered from my phone did not work, resulting in an error message. My account has been compromised and potentially deleted. The username is rat.coordinator.joe. The original email was [redacted], which was changed to [redacted] after being phished. I am desperate to regain access to my account or retrieve any available data. Please assist me with this issue. The yahoo email associated with the account has been inactive since around [redacted], but it was the original email used for the account. I have checked the yahoo email recently in case of any communication from Instagram, but there has been none. I can confirm my identity in any required manner. I'm having trouble accessing my Instagram account. When I tried to reset my password, I never received the security code email. I searched my Gmail's spam and all mail folders, but found nothing. I filled out the account recovery form, providing photos of myself, and received an email on my secondary email saying I could regain access. Unfortunately, after trying to log in, I was met with the same lockout screen. I attempted the security code process again, but still encountered no success. I encountered an issue while trying to verify my Instagram account as I did not receive the security code sent to my email address. The same problem occurred when attempting to verify through Facebook. Despite testing my email by sending various emails successfully, I have not received any verification codes from either platform. On December 16, [redacted], I updated the email address for my Instagram account, but unfortunately, I made a typo in one of the words. Following that, when I tried to correct it, I received an "error" message. Subsequently, I was unable to log in to my account. When attempting to log in, I selected "forgot password," then "need more help," and was prompted to "choose a recovery method." However, as the login code was being sent to an email I couldn't access, I chose "try another way." I then submitted a selfie video to Instagram, leading to a password reset request. Post resetting the password and trying to log in, Instagram still requires me to confirm ownership by sending a security code to the mistyped email address. Unfortunately, I'm unable to access the email address due to the previous error. Thank you.

I accidentally thought I was assisting a friend with their account, but then I noticed it had been hacked. I want to deactivate it to prevent any further issues and protect my friends. I attempted to support my friend's new business by following a link he provided, which unfortunately led to my account being hacked. As a result, my email, phone number, and Facebook details were removed from my profile, leaving me locked out of my account, Josh3.22. The hacker is now using my account to post more scams, which I want to stop immediately.

Last Friday, I discovered that I had followed [redacted] new people on my account, and upon checking the login details, it showed access from southeast Asia. Acting swiftly, I changed my password, logged out of all devices, and enabled multi-factor authentication through WhatsApp. I then began unfollowing and blocking the new accounts to avoid unwanted content. The next day, I was prompted to verify my account due to suspicious activity and was informed it would take approximately 24 hours. Upon my return to the US the following day, I attempted to log in only to find my account disabled. The process to regain access involved submitting a photo holding a specific code, which I did while at the airport, but unfortunately received no response. It's frustrating not being able to share my vacation experiences with friends.

Recently, my Instagram account got hacked as I noticed an unexpected increase in followers without my knowledge. To address this, I promptly switched my account from public to private mode to halt any further unauthorized access. Several days later, I discovered that Instagram had disabled my account. Despite diligently following their account recovery procedures, including sending verification emails, I am yet to hear back from Instagram. I received a direct message from someone I know asking for help to access their account. Strangely, after that, I got locked out of my own account. The email linked to it was changed, two-factor authentication was added, and now I'm completely locked out. I attempted the selfie video feature on the app multiple times, but it kept crashing. I recently received a message from an individual claiming to need help verifying their account under my handle @blarzly. I trusted them and didn't think much of it. I shared my number and also sent them the password reset link, not realizing it was linked to my own number. Surprisingly, I didn't receive any verification notification when they changed the number associated with the account. Additionally, my email was not connected to the account, and now this individual is attempting to make contact with my friends using the account.

My Instagram account got hacked after falling for a help link from a friend whose account was also compromised. The hacker changed both the email and password of my account, preventing me from recovering it successfully. While attempting to reset my account, recovery emails are automatically sent to the hacker's email address. The last hurdle I face is Instagram requesting a 6-digit authentication code that may be in "Apple passwords or in a screenshot," which is confusing for me.
