The hacker is uploading videos of me and has changed the email and phone number attached to the account to my birth name to make it seem like it’s me, when it's not. I am really worried about my safety as these videos falsely portray me and involve conversations with my family. A hacker used social engineering to trick me into clicking on a suspicious link sent from a trusted contact for account verification on Instagram. After sending it, my password, email, and phone number were changed. I managed to regain access momentarily through the recovery process, but I was soon logged out before restoring my original account details. My Instagram account has been hacked, and the hacker has changed the associated email and password. I received an email notifying me of the email change with a link to the help center, but there was no option to revert the changes. The hacker is attempting to deceive my followers with a bitcoin and Mercedes Benz scam.

A month ago, I relocated to study in Poland from Kazakhstan, causing issues with my account since my old phone number is no longer valid here. My Instagram account got disabled, and despite filling out forms, I haven't received any feedback. While on a call with my sister, Instagram suddenly kicked me out, noting my account was disabled. I'm unsure of any wrongdoing as I've had the account for about 8 to 9 years. It holds memories and allows me to keep in touch with friends. Having it taken away is distressing. I encountered an issue a few months back when I was logged out of my Instagram account. Despite my continuous attempts, I have been unsuccessful in recovering it. Most recently, I managed to access my account through an email from an advertisement but realized that the problem might be related to the email. I disabled my Instagram account last December temporarily. Although I have re-activated it a few times over the past year to save old photos or post, I find that being constantly glued to it is not good for my mental health. Currently, while on a visit to family in Madrid, I have been experiencing issues logging in. Our main business page was created in August of this year, and we currently have [redacted] followers. We pride ourselves on not being spammy by avoiding DMs and likes on other posts. Our main activity is posting one reel a day, scheduled through Facebook Suite. However, yesterday I posted 3 reels in an hour. While monitoring engagement later, I encountered an error requesting a phone number, which I provided. After entering the verification code, a message stated that my info would be reviewed within 24 hours. I am now unable to find the page using a different personal account. Managing the account from the Philippines while the client is in the US might be a contributing factor. I consulted with other social media experts who suggested that Instagram's algorithm may be the root cause, mentioning similar ongoing issues they've faced with no resolution. The entire situation is indeed frustrating.

Last week, while at home, I attempted to access Instagram from both my phone's app and my home computer. Unfortunately, our account was flagged for suspicious activity, possibly due to bot-like behavior. The app on my phone now prompts me for facial recognition, assuming it's our workplace's account. Unfortunately, my Instagram account was hacked due to my carelessness. The hacker changed my username from @Aloha_koolkid to @Aloha__koolkid by adding an extra underscore, making it hard for me to locate my account. Luckily, with my girlfriend's assistance, I managed to identify the account by noticing the sudden username change. I also received an email from Instagram indicating that the hacker had enabled two-step authentication, removed my email address and phone number, and replaced them with different ones. On 11/25, I deleted my Instagram account, moonlight_neko28. However, since then, I have been receiving repeated emails indicating registration attempts from Russia and Ukraine, even though I live in Germany. A few days ago, I logged into an app called REPORTS, which is an Instagram tool to view account activity and followers. After logging in, nothing happened, even though I have used this app before. The next day, I received a notification on Instagram that someone had logged into my account from another device. I initially brushed it off thinking it was related to my login on the REPORTS app.
