I've been experiencing issues with my Instagram account recently. Instagram requested 2-factor authentication, even though I haven't added any new devices. Today, I was locked out of my account, and after submitting a request for help, I received an email saying my account was "DISABLED." I was asked to provide a photo of myself with an ID code and my name, which I did, but I haven't received any response. This has happened before with my Facebook account, which was eventually removed. I'm eager to resolve this as Instagram is crucial for me to connect with loved ones, especially during this difficult time after my father's passing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I had previously used the DUO app for security codes on my business account @julietahandcrafted until September 6th. I logged in around 5:00 or 6:00 pm from my cell phone, but after resetting my old iPhone X without saving the codes, I couldn't access my account from my new phone later that evening. I changed my password on my laptop, not realizing I could have accessed backup codes in my account profile. The phone number associated with the account is [redacted], and the email is [redacted], also linked to my personal account @paskalportes. I used an iPhone X and a MacBook Air [redacted] for accessing the account. I urgently need access to my account as it is crucial for my business. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Despite entering the 6-digit code sent by Instagram, my efforts to restore my account were unsuccessful. The deletion occurred on 06/08/21 at 8 pm. This account is crucial to me as it's tied to my business, and I've invested significant time and money, including running Instagram ads. For the past 2 to 3 weeks, I've been receiving notifications from Instagram about suspicious activity on my account. Whenever I try to log in, it prompts me to change my password. Despite changing it multiple times, yesterday, the app didn't send me a password change prompt even though it mentioned suspicious activity. Now, when I try to log in, it asks for a 6-digit code that I never receive or that doesn't work for login attempts. Even requesting a code to my phone number linked to my profile doesn't send me anything. Some friends can't see my account at all while others can see it but without any posts, followers, etc. When I attempt to log in through a PC browser using my email, the system claims there's no user with that email. However, when I try to sign up with the same email, it shows an "X", indicating my account wasn't deleted. How can I provide Instagram with proof of ownership to regain access to my account? Hello, I'm seeking assistance with a login issue on my Instagram account. On Monday around 9 pm, I was unexpectedly logged out and prompted to verify my phone number for account Justin.[redacted]. Despite attempting to do so for approximately 1.5 hours with different phone numbers, I did not receive any verification codes via SMS. Hello, I previously used the account @latina.darling to share moments of my daughter's life and progress. Unfortunately, a disagreement about weed led to a heated argument with another user who insulted my daughter and me. Feeling protective, I made a regrettable racist comment. My account was permanently deleted without warning, erasing all the memories I shared of my daughter. It feels unjust that I wasn’t given a chance to explain the situation, especially when the other user had also used derogatory language toward me. I believe there should have been a fairer process, as his account remains active despite his offensive behavior.

I am seeking assistance with regaining access to my Instagram account. Recently, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Instagram app on my phone multiple times. Consequently, Instagram prompted me today to verify that I am the account owner. This verification process involved selecting pictures of traffic lights to confirm that I am not a robot. Following this, Instagram requested my phone number to send a verification code. Although I received the code, I encountered an issue when attempting to input it as the verification code box was not visible. This challenge persists across different devices, including my laptop and smartphone browser. I recently reinstalled Instagram on my phone and encountered a problem when trying to log back in. I had to provide a code from an authentication app, which I had never set up. When prompted for an 8-digit backup code, I realized I had never activated 2FA for my Instagram account and therefore did not have such a code. After reporting the issue to online support and verifying my identity with a photo, I was informed that 2FA was disabled on my account. Even though I should be able to log in, I'm still unable to access my account without one of these codes and have not received any further assistance from customer support.

Hello! I recently encountered an issue when trying to access my Instagram account. Upon logging in, I was prompted to enter my phone number for a confirmation code, which I successfully received and entered. Despite this, the page remained stagnant and did not allow me to proceed. I need to report a hacked account on Instagram. The account @theofficialtonyp was hacked, and the hacker is using it to scam people into investing in Bitcoin. The hacker changed the email address, so my partner cannot access the account. We have been reporting this all week but haven't seen any action taken. Please delete the profile to stop the scam. We created a new account @itstonypfrfr to make people aware of the situation. I found the hacker's Facebook account under the name Jae Getsomemoney and had a brief conversation where they blocked me. Please investigate this issue urgently and remove @theofficialtonyp from Instagram immediately to protect the community from further harm.

Regarding the Terms of Use: I have never engaged in hate speech, incited violence, or posted any inappropriate content such as nudity. As a woman, Latina, and part of the LGBT community, I am very conscious of these guidelines. In fact, I have reported inappropriate content from other users in the past. Instagram has never contacted me about any violations as I have always abided by the rules. I have always used my personal Instagram account and have never impersonated anyone on the platform. I even created a business account related to my name for "personal blog" purposes. I can provide all the necessary information about my accounts. What I think happened: I understand that platforms like Instagram and Facebook have tools to detect unusual activities on profiles for security purposes. Although these tools are not flawless, they are helpful. Yesterday, I downloaded the "Insights Tracker for Instagram" app from Google Play. After logging in using my Facebook and Instagram credentials, I unfollowed a few accounts. Subsequently, I received a notification about unusual activity on my account. I uninstalled the app immediately, but when I tried to log back into Instagram, my account was deactivated. I understand that the password change, the connection to the app, and unfollowing accounts might have triggered a security alert, but I believe this decision should be reconsidered. My Instagram account holds sentimental value for me. I have cherished memories, family videos, and posts that I hold dear. It serves as a means to stay in touch with people I care about.
