When attempting to resend a login link to my phone number, it redirects me to my second Instagram page. Similarly, trying to log in with my Facebook account leads to my secondary Instagram account. Additionally, when trying to reset my password via email, I discovered that my hacker has changed my email address.
I'm extremely upset because I regularly post videos on my Instagram and then delete them from my phone. The connections I have with my followers and people I follow have been cultivated over many years. It's crucial for me to regain access to my account.

My Instagram account @morgsodayum was hacked a few days ago, and the hacker changed my email and removed my phone number from the account. Despite trying the helpline and receiving a password reset link, Instagram flagged suspicious activity and now requires a verification email to the hacker's email to change my password. I need assistance with my accidentally deleted Instagram account. Yesterday, it was permanently removed under the reason of being 'too busy/distracting'. A few weeks ago, I deactivated my Instagram account @fatoshsdaily. However, now I can't log in as Instagram says the username doesn't exist. I've tried on my phone and computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no luck. When I tried to reset my password or retrieve my username via email, Instagram said there's no user with that email.
Why did this happen? Did Instagram delete my account? If so, what can I do to fix it? I only deactivated it temporarily, not deleted it.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account, "drachoe," even though I have the correct password and access to the associated email. When I request a verification code via email, I do not receive any emails at all. I reside in Olive Branch, MS, in the United States.

I attempted to regain access to my Instagram account by resetting the password. After providing my username and the phone number linked to the account, I received a login link. However, clicking on it redirected me to a different account of mine. Trying to resolve the issue, I updated the phone number on the other account but now can't find any accounts associated with the original number. Surprisingly, I have not altered the phone number linked to the account, and I am puzzled by this situation. The account in question contains personal photos of myself.

When I tried to deactivate or delete the account, they changed the password, preventing me from doing so. Amid deleting family pictures, they attempted to block me until I managed to remove most images, leading them to delete the account entirely. Now, it stands as a private account under the name "Kim," with the handle "mkl490852." I am eager to regain control of my account from these malicious individuals. I contacted Instagram during the incident, but I have yet to receive a response. The scammers also sent misleading emails that I unfortunately engaged with, allowing them to completely take over my account. These events transpired on Sunday evening, Eastern Standard Time.
