I encountered a distressing situation while trying to respond to a marketplace ad. My account was hacked, and the hacker used inappropriate language. Helplessly, I watched my cursor move uncontrollably on the screen until I had to power off my laptop to stop it. Despite my efforts, the damage was already done, and those who received the messages did not believe it was not me. Subsequently, I have been unable to make purchases or reach out to anyone on marketplace. It is essential for me to regain access to my account promptly as the content does not represent my values. Your urgent attention to this issue is greatly appreciated as I look forward to using the platform again. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello, I'm Nina, and I manage marketing for my client on Facebook Ads Manager. Unfortunately, the ads account got disabled after two years of running ads due to a violation of the Third-party infringement policy, specifically related to a Luggage Glove ad. I acknowledge the error and understand the importance of adhering to the policy against infringing on third-party rights. I assure you that this mistake won't be repeated. I kindly request the reactivation of my account so I can amend the ad to comply with the policies. I value your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you for your understanding. Best regards, Nina.

On our company's Facebook page, we recently encountered an individual (who is not a previous customer or associated with our business) making disrespectful comments about one of our team members and their personal life. It is inappropriate to have this kind of information displayed on our professional page, especially for all our clients to see. While we have hidden the comments, it is evident that they were already seen by many of our followers, as other clients and friends have since defended our team and company. This individual has a history of leaving hurtful comments not only about our business but also targeting this specific team member, which amounts to harassment and is unacceptable to us. Despite contacting her directly and requesting that she cease contact, she persists in making these comments after the recent incident. Although we have removed her from our page, she still can access our content and interact with it. It would greatly assist us if Facebook could support us in formally banning this individual from our page to prevent any recurrence of such behavior.

I recently experienced an issue where someone pretending to be me had blocked me and was sending inappropriate messages to men on my messenger. I have been reporting this as a hack. Even though I reported her, we couldn't locate the account to report. I uploaded pictures to clarify that it wasn't me, as these men were sending inappropriate messages. I was in Facebook jail for this from last Friday until 2/24/19 at 8:44 pm. Upon waking up early, I noticed that I was blocked and deemed ineligible. The reported account was an old Yahoo account I no longer use. My current email is [redacted], and I have over [redacted] friends. I was trying to protect my friends. Due to a compound shoulder break with surgery and dental work in the past few months, I am a bit exhausted from advocating for myself. I work as a licensed Master Social Worker for the Attorney General of SC with interstate reciprocity in all US territories. I am one of the good ones. I am unsure why I am suddenly ineligible. I engage in inspirational content and music. I urgently need my main account restored as it contains all my friends and groups.

I joined yesterday and created a Book page to promote my Scentsy business. Facebook won't allow me to post my website link due to community standards, disrupting my promotions. Changing the website name temporarily resolved the issue, but it resurfaced later. This has impacted my access to family and friends. Despite explaining my situation to Facebook, the problem persists. My website link is Savannahs2scentsz.scentsy.us. Any advice would be appreciated. My CID is [redacted].

I need some help with my Facebook page. I set it up to promote my Scentsy business, but Facebook keeps blocking my website link, saying it violates community standards. I tried to change the website name, which briefly allowed me to post the link, but then it got blocked again. I can't even share it through messenger. Now, my friends and family can't access my account. I explained what my website is about, but it's still being blocked. My website is Savannahs2scentz.scentsy.us. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

I am having trouble getting my friends, and even myself, to like my business page. The website is difficult to navigate, making it challenging to achieve this. I am interested in investing more in advertising if only I knew how to use the ad section effectively. As a real estate broker and owner, I aim to target a specific audience. I believe your company should have better tools for this purpose by now. Although I used Facebook during my college days, I find it less user-friendly compared to alternatives like Myspace (lol). I have supported your platform in the past and hope for more assistance now. Thank you. Best, Tina S. Potters House Realty (Note: There are two different names for my business page on Facebook, which needs to be corrected. Please help me with this issue.) I am targeting divorcees, HR corporations, home sellers, and buyers. Additionally, I am interested in re-targeting or geo-retargeting features.

My phone was having issues, not shutting off properly. I gave it to a friend who claimed they could fix it. However, upon receiving it back, I discovered messages posted on my account that I didn't write, mentioning a sensitive topic. I now realize it was a prank related to a serious event involving my friend's niece. This misunderstanding has caused distress. I need to access my page to communicate with family, especially as my mum has Dementia. I apologize for any harm caused and seek guidance on how to resolve this situation. Thank you for your assistance. - Theresa Dyos

To Whom It May Concern, I am reaching out today for assistance regarding an item I purchased on Facebook Marketplace. Here is the link to the item listing: [redacted]. I bought a BMW car that was advertised as being in excellent condition. Unfortunately, a day after the purchase, a mechanic discovered a coolant leak in the car. Since the listing claimed the car was in excellent condition, I believe I am entitled to a refund under these circumstances, despite it being a private sale. Given that the transaction occurred on Facebook Marketplace, I am seeking clarification on how to proceed with this issue. Thank you, Bradley

Regrettably, my Facebook account has been disabled. I believe this might be due to interactions with an individual named Florence, who seemed to be involved in a scam about job opportunities in Canada for my brother. Realizing it was fraudulent, I warned her about illegal activities. Additionally, I was advocating for students from my homeland who were unfairly denied access to scholarships by individuals from my District residing in the USA. They had misled their relatives about scholarships from Muscatine Community College. These events occurred before my account was disabled following communication with the woman claiming to represent a job agency in Liberia.

I had an account for over 8 years, and it got hacked in January. The hacker demanded my passcode and contacted my friends and family. Despite closing the account and being told it would be shut down by February 2, [redacted], it's still open. This prevents me from creating a new account as Facebook thinks I'm impersonating myself. It's almost March, and the issue remains unresolved. The hacker seems skilled or Facebook is struggling to address this problem. My original email, [redacted], was also hacked and had to be shut down. Now I'm using [redacted] to try to create a new Facebook account. I'm hesitant to send any ID to prove my identity due to the hacker potentially intercepting it. I've sent photos, but Facebook keeps rejecting them because the old account is still accessible. Please assist me with this matter.

Subject: Social Media Imposter Dilemma Hello Facebook and Instagram, For the past five years, I have been dealing with a distressing situation regarding multiple imposters who are stealing my social media content and posing as me online. These imposters are reaching out to vulnerable women on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and dating sites, deceiving them and tricking them into giving away significant amounts of money. I have been in contact with approximately 2-3 dozen women who have fallen victim to these scams and realized they were being deceived. Some of these women continue to message me on Instagram and Facebook, believing they have a connection with me due to the false relationships created by the catfish imposters. Despite watermarking my photos and deleting accounts, these impostors persist in using my content to carry out their fraudulent activities. I have gathered evidence such as messages and have reported imposter accounts to Instagram and Facebook regularly, yet the issue persists. As a member of the United States Army, it is disheartening to see my uniform being misused to exploit the sympathies of kind-hearted individuals. The impact of these scams on both the victims and myself cannot be understated. Unfortunately, my Instagram account was disabled on February 25, [redacted], possibly due to false reports by followers of the imposters. I kindly request the reinstatement of my account, thorough removal of these fake accounts, and verification of my page to prevent further fraudulent activities. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Instagram.com/PettyKingNanos Facebook.com/brandon.a.nanos Sincerely, Brandon A. Nanos

Hello Facebook Team, I am reaching out on behalf of @abudi on Facebook and @MrAbdullahMalik on Instagram. I have been facing issues with my accounts for the past few weeks due to the unreliable 2-step verification process. The system consistently fails to send the 6-digit code to my phone, preventing me from logging in to my accounts. This bug in the system is causing frustration among users like myself, making it difficult to enjoy special moments like the one I have planned with friends today. I urge you to address this issue promptly and consider revising your verification process to avoid inconveniencing users. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Muhammad Abdullah Malik (Facebook: @abudi)

I have a Facebook account under my name, which is working fine. Recently, I created a business page called www.facebook.com/PUMPAEROSMITHBAND. I am the sole administrator of this page. I am facing an issue when trying to edit/change the name of the business page. When I click on "Edit Page," everything works fine except when I try to edit the name, a message pops up saying the page cannot be displayed. This happens only when I try to change the name. I have been running promotions on this page since [redacted] when it had 0 likes initially, and I do not want to start a new page from scratch. My goal is to change the name of the PUMPAEROSMITHBAND page.

I had a post deleted and was blocked due to a comment that was misunderstood as bullying. I was simply trying to explain the impact of a country's education system on an individual, not personally attack anyone. Facebook mistakenly took action based on a machine review without understanding the context. The comment was about educational challenges faced by individuals from certain countries, not a form of bullying. If a human moderator had reviewed it, they might have seen it differently. I mentioned specific disadvantages faced by individuals in the Philippines due to factors like the influence of the Catholic Church and limitations in the education system. My intention was to provide insight based on my experience in the country. If needing to contact me, please use my preferred email address for correspondence.

I'd like to clarify a misconception and defend the previous commenter, Lisa Cantrell. Based on Ramona Del's name, profile, and writing style, I suspect she may be Filipino. Understanding that being Filipino comes with certain challenges is crucial. The Philippines is heavily influenced by the Catholic Church, which controls much of the country's politics and information dissemination through propaganda. Additionally, the education system in the Philippines often lacks emphasis on critical thinking, fact evaluation, and debate skills. Having lived in the Philippines for 14 years, I observed these limitations firsthand while attempting to teach English to individuals preparing for standardized tests. It's important to recognize these cultural and educational aspects in discussions involving individuals from the Philippines.

Certified Band Geeks is a Business Page dedicated to promoting HBCU Marching Bands, including various local Historically Black Colleges and Universities and high schools across the country. We aim to connect college and high school students by providing information on available scholarships, music auditions, and colleges/universities. Unfortunately, our Instagram account has been disabled due to a misunderstanding with a videographer. Despite our efforts to reach out and credit the videographer, our account remains flagged. We have attempted to contact Instagram through various means without success and are considering a trip to their headquarters in New York for resolution. We are hopeful to have our page reinstated or to start fresh. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I accidentally donated $90 twice to Kelsey Berry for Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary. I contacted PayPal for a refund but still have $90 outstanding. I made the mistake on my phone while trying to change the donation amount. I emailed PayPal but got no response. I can't afford this extra charge and am concerned about the lack of approval before the charges went through. On my computer, the donation page has a space for entering the donation amount, while on my phone it does not. Your assistance in resolving this promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ilona M Raia.

They are considering visiting Instagram Headquarters in New York to resolve this issue and regain access to their page or create a new one.
