I am at a loss for words right now 😢. I have been personally hacked on my phone and computers, and I'm afraid the landline may be compromised as well. I have technicians coming to check the landline soon. I have already gotten rid of the hacked phone and computer, hoping this helps somehow. The reason I am contacting Facebook is that I feel someone is trying to harass me terribly by creating a fake account to bother me and spread disgusting rumors. I have contacted the local police due to threats if I report anything. I am terrified that I got hacked, fooled, and now face threats from these creepy people creating the fake Facebook account to connect me and my friends to this person. Facebook has also tried calling my number a few times, which is confusing. Could someone be trying to ruin me by spreading fake rumors on Facebook as well? I am extremely scared and depressed. Thanks a bunch, Gina.

I responded to an advertisement for a puppy on Facebook's Montana Animals for Sale. After messaging Jami Ellis, she mentioned having a remaining puppy. Opting for PayPal due to our distance, the deposit requested was $[redacted]. However, after making the payment, Jami hurriedly noted it was non-refundable and promised to call back later. She has since vanished without providing further details. I am concerned I may have fallen victim to a scam. How can I recover my funds and prevent her from doing this to others?

I have a special request regarding my son's Facebook account. I am curious to know which user has declared his account "in memory," as neither his parents, his sister, nor his close friends did so. As far as I am aware, my son did not assign anyone to do this in the event of his passing.

Hi, I'm Nivvedita Sancheti and my username is nivedita.sancheti on Facebook. I'm experiencing issues with my news feed. I'm able to see posts from friends but not from pages I like, and the pages feed tab shows a "can't connect" message. While my friends see posts from pages they like, I only see posts from random pages since 2 days ago. I've tried changing and setting my news feed preferences but the problem persists. Even after unfollowing many friends, I still see their posts but not those from the pages I'm interested in. This sudden change in Facebook's behavior is really frustrating for me as I'm a regular user of the platform. Appreciate any help you can provide.

Dear NBC Team, I am writing to address the disabling of my Facebook account and express my frustration at being unable to contact Facebook regarding this issue. I acknowledge receiving a warning on 20 FEB [redacted] and my account was disabled the following day, not allowing me the opportunity to address the alleged violation. I operate a Facebook online store selling t-shirts with the assistance of a freelancer who manages the design aspect for a monthly wage. It appears that a design used, featuring rapper Travis Scott, was mistakenly identified as a copyright infringement dating back to [redacted]. Regrettably, I was not given a chance to rectify this error. As a loyal user since [redacted], I have always utilized Facebook responsibly and find it unjust to lose access to not only my personal account but also my business pages which sustain my livelihood. Facebook holds immense significance in my life as it is where I have cherished memories, connect with family and friends, and also derive income to support my family. I implore you to consider reinstating at least limited access to my business pages. I sincerely appeal for your assistance in establishing contact with Facebook to address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention, FB NAME: Ahmed Al-Baz

I'm having trouble accessing my Facebook account due to an issue with changing my email. Facebook required ID verification, but my submitted ID did not match because I had recently switched to using a nickname. Despite this, my account history shows I used my legal name for years, which matches the ID I submitted. The issue seems to be that Facebook now requires the submitted ID to contain the recent nickname. If they could review my account history and names used against the ID I provided, it should clarify the situation and grant me access to my account. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I need help deleting an old Facebook page that was hacked by my ex-wife, who has been in control of it for 5 to 6 years. Despite numerous attempts, Facebook has not responded to my requests. My ex-wife even used a picture from my new Facebook page, where she is pretending to be me by using my photos. I have proven my identity and sent evidence of divorce and shared children, but Facebook still refuses to delete the old page. This situation is causing significant distress, and I am at a loss as to why Facebook is not assisting me, especially since my ex-wife hacked the page.

I have been using Facebook Marketplace to search for a pickup truck. I came across a truck supposedly being sold by a Facebook User named "Jerry Bencosme." The truck is located near my son's home, so before asking him to check it out, I decided to research the seller. Upon visiting their profile, I discovered that they claim to work for Al-Qaeda since August 11, [redacted]. Their profile includes a link to a page that describes Al-Qaeda as a local business with 7,[redacted] likes. As a concerned citizen, I have reported the user and the page to the FBI. It is alarming that a social network like Facebook allows a page associated with hate and terror like Al-Qaeda to exist. I urge Facebook to cooperate with the FBI in investigating this matter, including the connection between Jerry Bencosme and the terror group. This situation is deeply concerning, and action should be taken promptly.

I have made two attempts to create a Facebook account as a first-time user to advertise for my new business. Unfortunately, I have encountered several obstacles each time. Despite hiring a social media expert based in Seattle, Washington to assist me, my efforts seem to be flagged as suspicious. I have submitted multiple screen shots and uploaded my picture repeatedly, but I have not received any responses. I deleted my first account due to persistent DB error messages. My most recent attempt was going well until my account was disabled for verification purposes. I uploaded my picture as requested, but it remains unreviewed. How can I resolve these issues and proceed with having my account authorized for business advertising?

Hello, I encountered an issue with my Facebook account while updating my identity. Previously, I utilized my account through the phone number [redacted]. I recently switched from a Redmi Mi 4 mobile to a Redmi Note 5 Pro. After logging in on the new device, everything seemed fine. However, later in the evening, when I tried to access my account, I was logged out and upon trying to log back in, I was informed that my account had been disabled. Despite not having uploaded my identity, I am facing this problem. I've been an active user of Facebook since [redacted], and I've maintained an authentic profile without any reports against it. I trust Facebook greatly and did not expect to encounter this issue. It appears that my genuine account was mistakenly disabled, unlike the numerous fake accounts that seem to go unnoticed. In the hopes of recovering my account, I am sharing some personal details. My name is Akash Tiwari, and my account ID is [redacted]. I am a resident of India and possess an Aadhar Card number [redacted]58 and a Pan Card number AWWPT5382Q. I kindly request the restoration of my account so that I can continue using my genuine profile. Warm regards, Akash Tiwari

I have a Facebook account under the name James Mak and recently created a separate account named Ds Mak for managing ads and pages for my business. I received a notification to verify my Ds Mak account with a photo of myself, but as my phone camera was deactivated for work reasons, I used a picture of a friend to proceed with the verification, and everything went smoothly. Subsequently, I decided to use my main Facebook account to manage the ads and pages, so I added my main account as an admin to these pages and the ad account. However, I encountered an issue where my main account got logged out, prompting me to suspect a phishing attempt and led me to change my password. I also created an ad to run for the week, which I usually get approved within 5 minutes on the Ds Mak account. It has been 12 hours now, and my ad on the main account has not been approved. I am unsure if these issues are related or if I just need to wait longer for the approval.

I recently received an email from Facebook stating that my deactivated account had been reactivated through my email, which was not the case. Concerned about phishing, I refrained from clicking the link. Fortunately, I couldn't find my deactivated account as active on Facebook, which was a relief. Subsequently, I started receiving friend requests via text, one set in English and another in what appeared to be Chinese or Japanese. Installing the Facebook app prompted steps to reactivate my account, change security settings, and required a confirmation code via text. However, upon receiving the code, I noticed additional Chinese symbols, making me suspicious. Opting not to proceed, I tried requesting a confirmation code via email, only to encounter a mix of English numbers and Chinese or Japanese characters. Worried about a potential scam, I refrained from entering any codes. How should I safeguard my account if I wish to reactivate it after it has been deactivated for several years? Is this a scam?

My phone, Facebook, and bank accounts were hacked through my Facebook account. My phone started displaying Spanish words and got locked for about two hours. The hackers wiped out my phone, and I am still struggling to restore everything and it's acting strangely. I've been attempting to delete my Facebook account without success. I also received a call from an unknown number threatening to expose my data unless I paid them. This occurred on my Lane page. I'm not alone as someone I barely knew mentioned experiencing the same issue. I've been unable to reach Facebook for assistance regarding this matter.

I was surprised to discover that I couldn't access my account earlier today. The last time I was able to do so was on Feb. 23, [redacted], when I uploaded pictures and videos. A friend created my account around [redacted] or [redacted], and I haven't made any changes to it except for updating the contact number and changing passwords. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the email address linked to my account. When I try to log in using my contact number, it directs me to a different person's account, granting full access. While my original account is still searchable, Facebook is unable to locate it using my name. I'm unsure what's happening with my account and haven't created a new one as I have cherished photos, videos, and messages from loved ones stored there. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. I would greatly appreciate your help and look forward to hearing from you soon.
