I recently received a notice from Experian with report number 0[redacted]-38 dated 12-05-18, stating that a security freeze was requested on my credit report, which I did not authorize. I am concerned and would like to identify who initiated this freeze without my consent using my personal identification number [redacted][redacted]. Additionally, my credit report incorrectly states that my bankruptcy is not reported when, in fact, it has been closed for 3 to 4 years. This inaccuracy has impacted my ability to receive certain tax benefits. I have attempted to contact Experian by phone but have only reached the fraud department. I am unable to speak with a representative. I kindly request that these issues be rectified promptly. Thank you for your cooperation. Wendy S.

I sought financial assistance from Greensky Retail to purchase G&G Fitness equipment. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with my application, resulting in a duplicate application without my consent. Greensky reached out to you twice for a credit check. I have since canceled the contract, returned the equipment, and closed my Greensky account promptly. I am relieved that Greensky confirmed I do not owe $4,[redacted].93 and will rectify this within 24-48 hours. I am worried about the impact on my high FICO score. Could you please clarify how this error will affect my credit score and how long it will take to correct this mistake? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, R.P.

I regret to inform you that we were unable to fulfill your request to permanently lift the security freeze on your account based on the information provided.

After validating your information, we will execute the removal of the security freeze as per your specified timeframe.

I recently experienced the Experian data breach, which exposed my personal information, resulting in identity theft and multiple fraudulent credit applications. Despite purchasing credit monitoring, I was unable to register due to the breach. I had to freeze my credit, but did not receive the necessary confirmation letter for unfreezing. I now need to unfreeze my credit urgently to buy a car for my elderly mother-in-law, but Experian has been unhelpful in assisting me without a monthly payment for monitoring. Their customer service is difficult to reach, and their dispute system and security practices are lacking. I have reported my issues to the relevant authorities to address this negligence.

I cancelled my service after 23 days of the $1 30-day trial, and my subscription has been inactive for nearly a month. However, Experian charged my child support card $21.95 yesterday. I was promised a refund since the service was terminated. Upon reviewing the email confirmation, it indicates a refund of $0. It seems there is a miscommunication that needs to be addressed to avoid potential legal issues. The customer service agent should be aware of the card they charged, regardless of the terms and conditions. Cancelling a service when requested is also stated as per their policy.

I unwittingly got enrolled in a service without my knowledge that's been deducting $24.00 from my account monthly. These unauthorized charges need to be reversed. Despite attempting to cancel via phone without success and blocking payments through my bank, I remain billed. The situation is distressing as my bank account has gone into overdraft, leading to declined transactions at essential places like grocery stores and gas stations. I urgently need to connect with customer service to halt this unfamiliar service and obtain a refund. The financial strain is severe, and I'm seeking assistance promptly to rectify this issue. Thank you.

I am unable to connect with a representative and keep getting automated recordings. Despite informing you about an erroneous bill from University Hospital, it seems you sided with their department instead of resolving the issue in my favor. To exacerbate the situation, you notified me about a 16-point decrease in my score, which I find concerning. I have diligently paid my bills and continued my house hunting, but being penalized for exploring various property options is unjust. Your approach to marking these inquiries as negative impacts on my credit score is unreasonable. I believe that making an informed decision on a significant purchase like a house requires thorough research and exploration. It appears that your service is not aligning with my best interests, and I no longer wish to be subscribed.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Experian Account
Hello Experian,
I wanted to bring to your attention Experian Case#[redacted]8.
Regarding this matter, [redacted] gained unauthorized access to my employee information at my workplace, which allowed them to contact Experian, reset my password, alter my email and phone number details on my account. [redacted] is involved in a legal case I have against them and my employer, making this an act of malicious identity theft.
I kindly request you to provide me with the date of these modifications on my Experian account and the phone number used to request the password reset. This information is vital for the ongoing lawsuit I am preparing against [redacted]
Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could revert my Experian account back to the original email and phone number and facilitate a password reset. Additionally, I would like to inquire about the possibility of setting up 2-factor authentication on my account to prevent unauthorized access in the future.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Mona

Someone is attempting to access my deceased partner's American Express account. Despite contacting American Express, they advised reporting this to the credit bureaus. When I tried talking to a person on the phone, I struggled with the automated system. After reluctantly providing my information, the system claimed fraud on my account. I am not comfortable with this situation. At 72 years old and battling lung cancer, I am overwhelmed. I fear the consequences this may have on my credit cards. Please, I urge you to address this matter promptly. Contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I recently requested additional credit for one of my charge cards but unfortunately, they were unable to process it at the moment. When inquiring about the reasons for the denial, they mentioned the possibility of a freeze on my credit report. I recall having a freeze in the past but believed it was lifted. I am uncertain if there is still a freeze affecting my credit report and causing the rejection. I have a strong credit history and haven't encountered a refusal previously. The representatives suggested that there might indeed be a freeze impacting my credit report.

I'm having trouble getting the assistance I need from Experian's automated system. I suspect someone opened an account in my name at Chase, possibly making me a victim of identity theft. I've attempted to request credit reports and freeze my credit, but I'm unsure if everything was successful due to issues with the automated system. I'm worried about potential mistakes or unauthorized actions taken. I urgently require to speak with a live representative to clarify the situation. Is there a way for me to reach a person directly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am in the process of disputing three items on my credit report, which I am also disputing with the other two credit reporting agencies. TransUnion has already removed the items I contested:
1. PHFA Pennsylvania Housing - $61,[redacted], which is either paid off or charged off.
2. Penn Credit Corporation - $3,[redacted], for an electric utility account opened fraudulently by my ex-wife Stacey N. Patterson without my knowledge or consent.
3. Trident Asset Management - $[redacted], for a fraudulent purchase that I have no knowledge of, resulting in a returned check. I contacted them to inquire about this charge.

I am experiencing difficulties accessing my account as I lost all my information during the Camp Fire incident in Paradise. Without my username or report number, I am unable to unlock my credit freeze online. Despite entering my email ([redacted]) and the last four digits of my social security number ([redacted]) as instructed on the login page to receive my username via email, I have not received any response after multiple attempts over two days, even after checking my spam folders. I have also forgotten my password. I urgently need assistance to log into my account to lift the credit freeze so I can transfer insurance funds to a local credit union. Contacting a human being by phone seems impossible. Please help me resolve this issue promptly.

Hello, I am attempting to open a bank account to deposit a check, and the bank requires me to unfreeze my account, a process I have done successfully with Experian before. Today, I am facing difficulty unfreezing it as the automated system directs me to submit a request in writing, causing a significant delay in my plans. I am seeking human assistance to expedite the unfreezing process. I possess my nine-digit pin number and also wish to become an Experian member. Thank you for addressing this promptly. Regards, Mark G. Spencer.

My account seems to have been frozen, and I am uncertain why. This issue is affecting my apartment rental process, as the leasing agent cannot proceed without the necessary information on file due to the discrepancy in telephone numbers. I have had two previous numbers - [redacted] and [redacted]. I urgently need my account unfrozen to secure my new home before 02/20/[redacted]. Despite my attempts over several days to unfreeze it via phone, I inadvertently placed another freeze. I encountered no unfreezing options during my attempts. This situation is critical, and I require your prompt assistance and cooperation.

I paid $1 for a trial offer while looking at rent-to-own homes. I unsubscribed on the same day. Today, I noticed a $21.95 charge on my debit card. This is a recurring issue, and I request a refund. I'm on a tight budget and require the money back on my card to purchase my medication. It's frustrating that this situation has occurred once more.

I have a monitoring service with MyIDCare, and recently I received an alert informing me about a new address listed for me in Dorchester, MA, without any associated name. After contacting MyIDCare, they mentioned the information was received from Experian and provided me with a phone number to inquire further. Despite attempting to call multiple numbers, including the one on my Experian Credit Report, I was unable to resolve the issue. I need assistance in identifying the source of this new address and clarification as to why it was reported. This situation is urgent as I am currently in the midst of buying a car.

I got a Sears Vida card last November to buy a refrigerator, dishwasher, and wall oven combo to save more. I paid for the fridge and dishwasher upon delivery. Due to a factory delay, Sears hasn't delivered the items yet. I got the 30-inch combo yesterday, but I need a 27-inch one. Despite several visits and talks with supervisors and the salesman, there's been no solution. The salesman accidentally changed my order to the 30-inch combo. Since December, the Visa Card keeps demanding payment for the oven I don't have. Once, a supervisor said I could pay upon receiving it, but they have been calling me to pay twice today already. I fear this could harm my credit history.

I have been attempting to update my membership password for two days now. I am unable to proceed as the page displays two digits of a phone number that do not match mine. Even after inputting my correct phone number, the system does not recognize it. This situation is alarming, and I fear there may be fraudulent activity or unauthorized access to my account. Not being able to speak with a customer service representative is frustrating, especially given the seriousness of this issue. I am uncertain whether the phone number associated with my account is accurate, as the displayed digits are incorrect. I urgently need to verify and rectify this situation, hoping to connect with a representative soon.
