I contacted Direct Express customer service on Thursday, June 1, [redacted], around 2:00 PM to request an expedited replacement card, but I have not received it yet. I was informed that I would receive an email with a tracking number, but I have not received one. I have checked both my USPS and FedEx accounts, but I do not see any UPS or FedEx packages scheduled for delivery. I have attempted to reach customer service at 1-[redacted], but the automated message advises me to call back later due to high call volumes.

I recently ordered a new card on June 1st, and it was supposed to arrive within two days, but I haven't received it yet. Every time I call, they hang up on me due to peak hours, which is frustrating because I need to pay my bills. I'm a 72-year-old man feeling helpless. My replacement card was processed on May 26, [redacted], and scheduled for expedited shipping. However, on May 28, [redacted], I received notification of a delay in the delivery. Subsequently, on June 1, [redacted], I received another email indicating that the package had been delivered. Despite this, upon calling U.P.S. the same day, I reported that I had not received the package and proceeded to file a claim for a missing package. Finally, on June 5, [redacted], a UPS representative visited me with the necessary paperwork to confirm that the package had not been received.

A month ago, I was informed that my new card would be sent out before my current one expires on July 1st. Coincidentally, I just received a statement from the company. I urgently require my new card to prevent my bills from bouncing, allowing me to pay for essentials like car insurance and food. I requested my Social Security direct deposit through Direct Express on May 8th. Supposedly, the card was mailed out by Direct Express for address verification. Today is June 11th, and I still have not received the Direct Express card. I am unable to reach Direct Express by phone as I do not have a card number or PIN. I can't even use my Social Security number for verification because they have no record of me. I have funds pending from Social Security, causing me to fall behind on my bills and incur late fees. Despite trying to get help, I am stuck in a frustrating cycle with no resolution in sight.

I ordered a new card on May 25, [redacted], but didn't receive it in time. When I tried to use the card on June 1, I was told the expiration date had changed. After requesting an expedited card on June 7, I was supposed to receive it on June 9 but never got an email confirmation. About two months ago, my Direct Express card was involved in fraudulent activity, along with my Cash App card and one credit card that was maxed out. I noticed that one of the email addresses used for this month's transactions was the same as the one used two months ago. When I received my check on the 1st and checked my balance, almost $[redacted].00 was already missing. I acted right away, calling Direct Express customer service. They reassured me all transactions were pending and nothing had been withdrawn yet. I initiated disputes for all the transactions made on June 1st. However, upon receiving my new card and checking, all the transactions had gone through, depleting my funds. I am unsure if my earlier disputes were properly handled. I urgently need my money refunded as bills are due, leaving me financially strained and on the brink of having my water services disconnected. I recently moved to Oklahoma City, and my Direct Express card became unusable. I contacted customer service to request a new card. I fell for an ad for a portable blender priced at $5.99, but $74.12 was taken from my account instead. Direct Express told me they would investigate. I received a letter saying I authorized the $74.12 for a subscription to Unified Sewing Solutions. When I called, they were unhelpful, claiming it was my responsibility to cancel within 48 hours. Direct Express couldn't assist further. I reported the scam to AARP and the Federal Trade Commission. When I tried to reach a supervisor at Direct Express, I was left on hold for over an hour with no response. This treatment is disappointing after years of loyalty. I'll explore alternative ways to manage my Social Security payments due to this unacceptable experience.

Upon reviewing my balance, I noticed it was lower than expected. Upon checking my online account, I discovered four separate cash app transactions totaling $[redacted], as well as an unauthorized payment to Microsoft for an Xbox, an item I do not own. I promptly reported these incidents but have been unable to reach a live agent to dispute the charges, which is frustrating as it has been four days already. My son has been patiently waiting for his new Direct Express card for July, which was supposed to arrive since June 5th. He has made multiple calls to Direct Express and faced frustrating encounters. Initially, they claimed his social security number was non-existent, then contradicted themselves by stating he didn't have a social security number. He has even reached out to social security thrice to resolve this issue. Despite his efforts, he has been unable to reach anyone at Direct Express on July 3rd to address this matter.

I called earlier to dispute an $86 charge made today. I spoke to a representative who was supposed to transfer me to the fraud department, but after being on hold for over 36 minutes, the call got disconnected. I applied for a Direct Express card on June 6 for myself, Florence E. Sweet, and also for my great nieces' survivor benefits on the same card. I received a letter from Social Security stating I would be receiving my money on the 3rd, but there was no information about Florence Rose's survivor benefits. Social Security mentioned our money was put on two different cards, so I needed to contact Direct Express. Despite attempting to call all day, the numbers require a credit card to proceed, which I do not have. I am unable to get through and the system keeps saying to call back outside of peak hours. I plan to file a complaint, but in the meantime, I really need help to locate the money.

I recently had my wallet and Direct Express card stolen. I have been waiting since the 28th of last month to receive my new card. However, I found one of the very first cards that was reissued to me because I panicked when I couldn't find it. Is it possible for me to transfer money from my Direct Express account to my mom's bank account so I can start paying my bills to avoid late fees? The old card I found is still valid until [redacted] and is from Ameris Bank, which is the sister bank of Direct Express. Can I activate this old card and use it temporarily until my new card arrives? Alternatively, can you reactivate the card I currently have in my possession?

I have been attempting to reach customer service all day, but I keep receiving a message to call back later. As per their usual hours, there should be someone available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Unfortunately, my card seems to have been locked or frozen. I tried to use my debit card and it was declined. I contacted Direct Express and discovered that someone had cancelled my card, reordered a new one, and planned to use it in Missouri. I managed to stop the card and get it sent to my address. I have received the replacement card, but when I tried to activate it, they claimed they didn't have enough information about my account, most likely due to it being compromised.
