If you are having difficulty signing in, do not try to get around the problem by just creating a new account. This can cause problems with your payment methods and is against Venmo's terms of service.
If you are trying to unfreeze and account that was frozen because of a failed payment, you will need to provide funds for a recovery payment. Do this using a debit or credit card, rather than a bank transfer, because the card payment will go through right away, while the bank transfer can take up to five days, leaving your account frozen for longer.
If you contact Venmo's customer support for help regaining access to your account, make sure you have the email address and phone number associated with the account, your bank's routing number, and the last four digits of your bank account number with you.

If you are signing in from a new device and no longer have access to the email and phone associated with your Venmo account and have been asked to provide a verification code sent by Venmo, skip to step 6.

Because it is a remembered device, you might not be asked for the verification code this time. If you get in to your account, change the email and phone number in your profile so this problem does not happen again.
