While most items need to be return within 7 days, Pro Members get an extended return period. You can return pre-owned items and unopened hardware or software within 30 days. You also have the option to cancel your order and get a full refund within 2 days from purchase.
On this page, you can select the product you want to return to GameStop.
When it asks why you want to return the item, click Refund. Select your reason for the return and click Done.
GameStop customers can return the item by visiting a store or by shipping the product via FedEx. Choose one and click Next.
Note that certain items that were already opened can no longer be returned and will no longer be eligible for a refund. These items can include opened software, hardware, PCs, collectibles, and accessories. You also can't return clearance products, trading cards, consumables, and seasonal items.
Customers without a valid proof of purchase may be able to get a refund when the item is trade-in eligible. In this case, you'll get the current trade value amount.
Review the product you wish to return to GameStop and click Submit. If you selected FedEx, you'll need to print out the return label and paste it on the box, and drop the parcel at any FedEx location.
If you opted to return the item in-store, use this tool to find a GameStop store near you. Just enter your city, zip code, or state and click Search.
When returning a product, ensure it's in the original packaging with all components included. All orders shipped to Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii must also be returned in-store only. If your order exceeded $500, you can't return this in-store.
You can also start the return by calling GameStop's customer service hotline. Prepare your order number and email address, as the representative may ask for this info. You can also call the Support line should you have further questions about the return process.
You may still get a refund for products purchased through PayPal or Zip. However, note that online purchases include an $8.99 shipping fee for the item and a $14.99 shipping fee for video game consoles. To avoid shipping costs, return the items in-store. All products purchased in-store must only be returned at a GameStop store. GameStop also reserves the right to decline exchanges or returns, particularly when customers violate the terms or abuse the service. Violations can include multiple same-day returns, pre-owned return abuse, and frequent returns. Do you still have further questions? Contact Customer Support today.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
