How Do I Reset My Username and Password with Chase Bank?

If you have forgotten your Chase bank username or password then you need to learn how to regain access to them or change them. You should also periodically change them even if you have not forgotten, for security reasons. Read on to learn how change your username and password.

Resetting a Forgotten Username or Password

  1. Go to the Chase bank website.
  2. Log in to your Chase account.
  3. Click on Forgot User ID or Password.
  4. Choose the identity verification option that works best for you from the menu.
  5. Select the account you want to access.
  6. Enter whatever additional information that is requested.
  7. Click on the Next button.

You will be sent an email with your username and temporary password. Once you have logged into your account again you can change the password to a new permanent password following the instructions below.

Changing Your Username or Password in Your Account

If you can access your account but need to change your username or password, just follow these instructions.

  1. Go to the Chase website.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Click on the person icon.
  4. Click on Edit, under the Profile and Settings header.
  5. Enter your old password in the text field provided.
  6. Enter a new password in the text field provided.
  7. Click on the Submit button.
