If you see the Get Text Updates option, sign up to receive real-time alerts about the outage. This allows you to stay informed about status updates, estimated resolution times, and when your service is fully restored.
If there’s a cell service outage, we recommend enabling Wi-Fi Calling. This allows you to make calls and send text messages over a Wi-Fi connection using your AT&T service. If you’re outside the U.S., you can still use Wi-Fi Calling to send messages through your AT&T account.
