“united hate customers. my most recent horror story: they left me a voicemail saying they had my bag at the claim area, but when i showed up, the clueless agents could not find it. then there was no way i could get back to them. the number they called from when leaving the voicemail was withheld, and all customer service lines lead to India (after a torturous automated maze). no-one could/would give me the direct number for the baggage desk. i was unfailingly polite, but united just treat customers as annoying units, especially if they have any problems. this sort of thing happens repeatedly with united. on no account fly with them if you have a choice. this airline squarely deserves to fold.”
