As a last, sometimes only, resort- Electronic Arts customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team. Since this rarely leads to a real-time conversation, GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.

How Do I Dispute a Charge with Electronic Arts?

Electronic Arts is a reputable video game publisher, but charge disputes can still occur. To effectively dispute a charge with EA, first review the transaction details to ensure it is from EA. Verify the charge by logging into your EA account and checking the transaction history. Contact EA's customer support team for assistance and provide clear details of the issue. Be prepared to provide supporting evidence if disputing an unauthorized transaction or billing error. If all else fails, contact your bank or credit card company for a chargeback.

What is Electronic Arts' refund policy?

Electronic Arts' refund policy allows customers to request a refund for digital purchases made through their platforms under certain circumstances. Eligible for a refund are digital games and downloadable content, such as expansion packs or virtual currency. Refund requests can be made within 24 hours of the purchase or within 14 days if the game has not been launched or pre-ordered. Customers can receive a refund if they have technical issues preventing them from playing the game, if it doesn't meet their expectations, or if there is a breach of consumer guarantees. However, some restrictions apply, and refunds may not be available for all purchases. It is advised to review their refund policy for further details regarding the eligibility and process of obtaining a refund.

How Do I Merge Two Electronic Arts Original Accounts?

Merging two Electric arts accounts is a risky process as you will lose game data, personas, and items that you've collected or purchased during play. You can merge two accounts by yourself but will have to contact Electric Arts to do it for you. The customer service representative will warn you of the risks, and you'll need to agree to a disclaimer before proceeding.

Calling this Electronic Arts Customer Number

It's highly unlikely that customers will be able to speak with a customer representative when calling Electronic Arts about a customer service question or concern. I recently called the California-based gaming company to seek help with a game that won't properly download. However, access to a live agent is never offered. Instead, callers are consistently directed to Electronic Arts' website.

Upon calling, customers are greeted with an automated system offering options ranging from entering in an extension number, if you know it, and accessing a company directory to pressing 2 for direct consumer sales or 5 for customer support. You can also press 9 to hear the menu again. I chose customer support and was transferred to another automated recording that directed me to visit the website to read support articles or to speak with an advisor. The recording stated that the company is unable to provide help for games over the phone and the call was immediately disconnected.

I decided to call again and try reaching someone through a different option. When I got to the automated menu, I chose the option for direct sales and again was connected to an automated recording. This time I was told to visit the website if I was calling about a promotion, rebate or existing order. In addition, the recording gave me a specific link to Electronic Art's online shop if I wanted to purchase a product. After this quick update, the call was transferred back to the main menu. I pressed 0 to see if I could be directed elsewhere and even said the words 'customer service' but all my efforts were to no avail.

Interestingly, the automated recording offers an 800 number for further assistance but when I called, I discovered the number leads to a health insurance company rather than additional support for Electronic Arts and their products. The agent who answered the phone explained that I had the wrong number and apparently this has happened more than once.

While calling Electronic Arts was unsuccessful, I visited their website as the automated system advised to see if I could contact a representative virtually. Once online, you're required to choose the game you need help with and follow a menu of prompts related to your issue. There are options for seeking help with downloading or installing games so this is at least available in a pinch. Yet I couldn't find a way to contact someone through an online chat; only an online email submission page that included no direct email address and community forum. This method, along with accessing online help articles, is seemingly the company's preferred way, perhaps the only way, to access support of any kind.

For large companies that includes tools such as our GetHuman Phone, which allows you to call a company but skip the part where you wait on the line to get a live human rep.
