I recently purchased a 6-month premium membership at a 50% discount during a Valentine’s Day promotion. Shortly after, I requested a refund due to feeling unsure given my circumstances. Although I was initially told only £24 would be refunded, I chose to keep the membership hoping to use it in the future. Unfortunately, I was informed that I couldn't change my decision. Despite attempting to communicate via email, I have been unable to resolve the issue amid Covid restrictions prohibiting phone calls. I am disappointed to have paid £51 without a clear resolution. I am willing to refund the £24, but I have yet to see the reversal in my bank account. I would appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter respectfully as a new member. Beginning dating again after 24 years is a significant step, and this experience has created unnecessary obstacles. I hope for a positive resolution. Thank you.

My sister is feeling very stressed because she lives alone and is looking for companionship. She signed up for a monthly subscription with E Harmony and received a reply from someone she messaged. However, she is having trouble finding the send button to reply back. She has asked friends for help, but they couldn't assist her. I would appreciate it if you could provide detailed instructions that I can use to help her, as she is elderly and not familiar with using computers. I had hoped that E Harmony would be user-friendly for chatting with others by exchanging messages. If you are unable to send the information to me, please send it directly to her email. I want to support her in understanding how to contact E Harmony or explore the option of seeking help from my brother's girlfriend who lives 90 minutes away. She might need to visit my town, so having detailed information would be beneficial to guide her if she requires assistance here. Thank you for your prompt response. - B. Collier, 7 Sheoak Lane, Murray Bridge, South Australia [redacted].

Hello, I registered yesterday, but upon using the app, I am not satisfied with it. I have requested to cancel my membership and not be billed for any further months. I was informed that due to living in Missouri, there is no 3-day cancellation window available. On the website, it clearly states the following - "During the eharmony cancellation period, you can receive a refund or make an exchange by reaching out to the eharmony Customer Service Team. A refund is possible on the initial purchase of any subscription, and a pro-rated refund will be calculated." If this is not accurate, then it would be considered false advertising. Therefore, I am asking for the subscription to be terminated, without any additional charges. Kindly delete my account. Thank you for your assistance. Best, S.

On March 11, I signed up for a basic membership with eHarmony and accidentally selected premium without noticing the price. The charge exceeded $[redacted], which I couldn't afford. I called immediately after submitting it, but was told on the following day that only the transaction made on the 11th could be refunded. Despite my attempts with PayPal, contacting Aaron at eHarmony, and trying six different numbers to reach customer service, I have not received a refund for the overcharge. I urgently need the refund to be processed.

I am receiving 4-5 unwanted eHarmony emails daily from a spammer using the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. I did not subscribe to any eHarmony emails and want to be permanently removed from their mailing list. The emails contain fake unsubscribe links that my security software flags as malicious. This violates laws like the CAN-SPAM Act. Please stop these illegal emails immediately.

Dear members of the forum, I am Sulastri Ellis. I encountered someone through eharmony whom I believed to be a good person. However, he cancelled my eharmony subscription and merged my email with his as we were planning to get married. Unfortunately, I later discovered that he is a scammer who constantly asks for money. I am unable to use my eharmony account as it is linked to his email. I am seeking assistance to unlink our accounts. His eharmony accounts are [redacted] and [redacted] Please contact me directly at [redacted] (not an eharmony account). Thank you for your help. Warm regards, Sulastri Ellis

I signed up for eHarmony under the impression it was a one-month trial. Although I provided my bank details, I did not intend for a two-year commitment based on vague cancellation policies I only learned about after joining. Many users have faced similar confusion due to unclear terms. While I've canceled my subscription and account, accepting the lost three months of fees, I expect the withdrawals to cease promptly. This is not negotiable but a firm request for termination of all charges henceforth.

Hello, I recently subscribed to a Premium Membership on your site and I carefully reviewed the terms and conditions before signing up. I thought I was agreeing to a monthly payment plan of $17.95, but it appears that I inadvertently signed up for a lump sum payment for the entire 12 months. I would like to request a refund and have my account canceled due to this misunderstanding. Thank you.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Eharmony Account Hello Eharmony Support, I am William Peckitt, a user of eharmony, reaching out for help with accessing my profile. Recently, I encountered a situation where another device attempted to log in to my account while I was trying to access it using my phone and my mother was assisting me from her computer. I want to clarify that my account was not compromised during this process. To ensure this message reaches you, I am sending it from both my cell phone Gmail account and my mother's computer. I kindly request your support in enabling me to log in to my profile with the username William Peckitt, Profile ID: EH8X8MHV, using my android phone. While I have been using my mother's computer to access my account, I now prefer to use my cell phone number: [redacted]. After trying to change the email associated with the account from my mother's to mine ([redacted]) and using the password 136TahoeLA, I can successfully log in from my Gmail account on her computer. My goal is to have the same access and ability to view and edit my eharmony account from my android phone. You can reach me at [redacted] for any further correspondence. Thank you for your assistance, William Peckitt

I have used your site for four days now, and I have only received three matches that supposedly fit my profile. The only one who wasn't already in a relationship (unlike the fourth person from Maine, which is quite far from me in Florida) didn't really meet my criteria, even though we had a pleasant conversation. He did not match my preference of dating white individuals, he was 64 while I specified my upper age limit as 63, and he lived over 60 miles away. On the other hand, Plenty of Fish provides me with 1-2 suitable matches every day. I am requesting a full refund as I am disappointed with the service. Additionally, I tried calling two of your customer service phone numbers, but I encountered busy signals on both lines for over an hour.

This is to let you know that there was an unauthorized charge of $[redacted].80 by eHarmony, Inc. on my account, which I did not approve. I have not been satisfied with my membership results so far and do not wish to be a premium member. Please cancel my membership, refund the charge, and confirm the cancellation to avoid involving PayPal in this matter. I was not home on April 23 or 24 and unable to use my computer during that time. I am frustrated and aggravated by this situation.

Dear eharmony Customer Care, I attempted to take advantage of the special 50% off offer when joining, but upon paying the membership fee as per the contract agreement, it was not reflecting the discount. I kindly request for this to be rectified in the agreement. I would appreciate it if you could review this matter and provide feedback. If any charges have already been made, please cancel them. It's important to revise the contract to reflect the special offer accurately. Please give attention to this issue. Best regards, Kinukopetersen

Hello, my name is Kesta Higginbotham, but I mistakenly used Carol Higinbotham when signing up due to confusion with my relative, Kim Higinbotham. There seems to be an issue with my email address and password. I have been unable to log in for about a year as it keeps saying my credentials don't match. Could someone please reach out to me to resolve this matter? My phone number is [redacted]. I urge for a call back as I've tried to address this previously with no success. My email is [redacted] I registered on my friend's computer using her email, [redacted] She mentioned paying for three years, but I only used the account for about a year. Thank you in advance for your help; I eagerly await your call to regain access to my account. Sincerely, Kesta Higginbotham.

I had an account with eHarmony a few years ago, around 6 years ago. I used it less than 10 times over the years and always paid for it until I finally cancelled it. Recently, I started a new account about a month ago. I was able to log in the first and second time, but on the third attempt, I couldn't access it. The system says I have 2 accounts, one with [redacted] and the other with [redacted] I should only have one account, so you closed the [redacted] one. However, the correct account is [redacted], whereas [redacted] is an invalid email address. I've reached out via email multiple times but haven't received any help. If you could please reinstate my account with the correct email, I would like to continue using your service. Otherwise, I will have to cancel and seek alternatives. I've also tried calling the phone number provided on the website, which seems to be incorrect. I'm feeling very frustrated and disappointed, and I hope this issue can be resolved promptly. Thank you, Wanda Bellers

I am experiencing difficulties reaching eHarmony customer support. The contact numbers provided are not functioning, and I am currently subscribed to a service until March of next year with no practical benefits. The individuals I am matched with live far from my location, contrary to the promise of quality matches made by eHarmony. I wish the option to limit the distance for potential matches within my vicinity was available. There are concerns regarding customers being billed post-contract expiration, and I am worried this could happen to me when my agreement concludes in March [redacted]. Any assistance you could provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, F.

I am Lisa Sandercock. I do not have an eharmony account. On 5/17/[redacted], my checking account was charged $[redacted].00. I am concerned about this unauthorized charge and would like eharmony to investigate and identify the profile responsible for this fraudulent activity. I have no recurring subscription set up and have not authorized this charge. I have reviewed my account settings and did not approve this transaction. I have taken steps to dispute the charge with my bank. I urge eharmony to address this issue promptly to prevent further complications with my bank account. I can be reached via email or phone for further discussion on this matter. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Best regards, L. S.

I would like to request the cancellation of my subscription and a prorated refund for the following reasons which I will list by order of importance: 1) Some of the matches provided have no pictures or have usernames that seem fake like MZ58%NA. 2) The matches do not align with my specified qualities I am looking for. 3) The messages from matches appear fake and repetitive. 4) There are numerous instances of misrepresentation in profiles including false information on height, religion, and edited pictures. 5) I have felt unsafe due to concerning comments and behaviors from matches. I am disappointed by the presence of obviously fake usernames on eHarmony like the one mentioned in #1. Please arrange for a refund. I prefer not to publicly disclose my issues with eHarmony. Thank you, L.I. [redacted]

I need to settle a previous balance with eHarmony after canceling my subscription. They sent me a reminder and a link to my account for payment or to update my payment information, the reason why I had issues initially. However, I'm currently locked out of my account! I attempted to contact them via phone but could not locate a working number. Despite sending three emails to customer service, I only received generic responses that didn't provide a resolution for payment. Can anyone offer assistance with this matter? 😊

Hello, I am a 72-year-old widow who follows the LDS Mormon Christian faith. I have encountered some issues with the matchmaking on your website specifically for Utah. The matches I found in Utah were not suitable, with many Christian men being drinkers, which goes against the LDS beliefs. I have explored matches nationwide but have faced these challenges. Given my fixed income of $[redacted] per month, I am requesting to cancel my 12-month membership and waive the remaining 9 months. I appreciate Dr. Clark's book on relationships, but the matching tests on the site do not align with my needs. I have attempted to reach out via phone but encountered busy lines. I kindly ask for your understanding and assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you, Susan T., MAEd.

Joining eHarmony has been a regrettable decision for me at 80 years old! I had a successful career as a Training Consultant in Burnaby, B.C., traveling across North America for 35 years. I am from Powell River, BC, an isolated community only accessible by ferry or plane. When women learn I am permanently retired here, they lose interest, which was unexpected. Silver Singles provided a trouble-free 3-month trial. If my subscription is not canceled, I will stop using my credit card with Capital One. This experience has been a waste of time and money. Please confirm that my credit card will no longer be charged and my profile removed. Richard S. Vanier
