Dear Community Members, Recently, my son made multiple unauthorized purchases on Xbox online using my credit card over the last three months. I am requesting a refund for these charges. Each transaction should have required confirmation from the card owner before proceeding. Despite trying to remove my credit card from the Xbox account in early January [redacted], it still remains linked on the Xbox site. My son's Xbox Live account was permanently terminated due to his gamer profile picture, but the last three photos he posted were unobjectionable and still got flagged. Even after requesting a review, the department decided not to reinstate it. I am frustrated because all the purchases made on the account are now inaccessible. It feels unjust to lose access to bought items. This situation seems like fraud; suspending access is one thing, but revoking purchased games shouldn't be allowed. I am upset with how Xbox is managing this issue. My son's new account was also banned from accessing Hulu for two months. Despite the suspension, they promptly charged $10 for the next month. I've raised this problem on various social media platforms. I'd share the images of his gamer profile pictures if I could.

I have encountered an issue with the DC villains game since I inserted it into my console at the end of January. The system was bought on Black Friday as a Christmas gift and was only opened on 12/25/[redacted]. Due to illness in December, it wasn't played until January. The game has occasionally frozen and needed a restart, with blurry images hindering Minecraft play, a game we have only as a download on this console. I'm unsure if the data can be transferred, but that would be ideal. If not, I would appreciate receiving a new console to retry. I am interested in either another Minecraft download or physical game, along with a replacement for our stuck DC villains game. Ticket number SRX[redacted]. I've experienced a double charge on my credit card for the same product from Xbox. Despite seeking a refund, Xbox support declined due to their policy. This decision has left me quite dissatisfied with their service and refund protocol. If Xbox's policy involves profiting from double charges and denying refunds, I am thoroughly displeased. This issue remains unresolved, and I am requesting for the ticket to be escalated. It seems unfair for Xbox to overcharge parents' credit cards for teenage purchases without addressing and fixing such issues. The duplicate charge was a result of Xbox's system error, not my son attempting to make a second purchase. This policy of double charging without issuing refunds is unacceptable.

Hello, I recently purchased the Black Desert Ultimate Edition game on my Xbox Live account, scheduled for release on March 1st. However, I encountered an issue with my payment method being declined and received an email requesting an update. After updating my credit card details on Microsoft.com, I received a confirmation that my Visa card would be charged up to 10 days before the release date. Despite having sufficient funds in my account, the payment has not been processed after waiting for 2 days. With only 7 days left until the game's release, I have been unable to remove the card or cancel the order to repurchase the game. The BD drive on my Xbox One S stopped working a few months ago. I didn't realize the impact until a recent system update caused an E100 Error due to the original BD not being found. Despite attempting to update with a USB drive, the same error persisted. Research revealed that for the update to work, the original HD and BD must be installed because they are connected to the motherboard. Unfortunately, even though I have the original components, the update fails because the BD is malfunctioning. The situation has rendered my Xbox One unusable. Even if I were to replace the BD drive, without the original, it won't accept the update due to the NAND association. This issue requires Microsoft's resolution to prevent potential legal action.

I'm using an Xbox [redacted]. I purchased GTA 5 from the store for £15.99. After accidentally deleting the game from my hard drive and redownloading it, I encountered an error message stating that an online profile is needed to play, which never happened before without Xbox Live. I then added a £20 redeem code but was unable to use the balance to purchase Xbox Live Gold as intended. Frustrated, I ended up buying the game again for £15.99 without Xbox Live access. This experience has me considering switching to PlayStation out of frustration. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue and possibly receiving compensation for the inconvenience.

On February 22, [redacted] in the afternoon, my Xbox account was hacked while playing "Red Dead Redemption 2." My gamer tag was changed from "aynus mcbuttho" to "LovelyKitten205" by a player named "Drew Duh" after an altercation in the game where my character was repeatedly killed unfairly. This incident led me to log out of the game out of frustration. When I logged in on February 23, [redacted], I discovered my gamertag had been changed, preventing me from accessing Netflix through my console, which was my only means to use the service. I would like my original gamertag restored to regain recognition from my online friends. I believe the player responsible, "Drew Duh," should face consequences for this. My 8-year-old managed to spend over $[redacted] on Fortnite V-Bucks within 2 months, bypassing the purchasing passkey by repeatedly pressing the bumper buttons on the controller. This action prompts a password screen where he enters a password we do not know as it was randomly set up by our boys during Christmas. Despite numerous attempts, we are unable to get a refund due to the unknown password and birthdate on the account. Additionally, the passkey is being bypassed. Recently, my Xbox One X has been experiencing a multitude of issues. Upon restarting the console, an error code persists unless I completely reset it. Leaving it on causes unresponsiveness and slow loading times. Trying to download games results in an error message saying "installation stopped," which remains unresolved even after power cycling the console. These problems have been present since I purchased the Xbox. I am seeking a replacement under warranty due to the persistent issues. Thank you.

I am seeking a refund for an item inadvertently purchased by my 6-year-old grandson on my debit card. While my older grandkids understand the restrictions, the little one was unaware of the cost. I pre-ordered the Xbox X and overall, it has been a great system. However, I am facing an issue with two games, Farm Simulator 19 and NASCAR Heat 3, which won't load. When I try to install them, I keep getting errors saying the disc is dirty or scratched, along with an error code. All other games work fine except for these two. It's frustrating to have spent a lot on these games and the system itself, only to experience this problem. I feel let down by the high prices and the promise of faster performance that doesn't seem to hold up. I expected better from this purchase.

I recently bought an Xbox One and found a card on the side of the box for a 3-month gold membership instead of a game. Despite choosing it for the additional gold membership, BestBuy won't activate the card. I am unsure if the card was meant to be included with the system. Can you clarify this? I am experiencing a persisting issue with Black Ops 2 on Xbox. Every time I join a lobby and the game is about to start, it brings me back to the loading screen in a continuous loop, preventing me from playing the game. This problem is specific to this game and has occurred across three different discs and on four separate systems, including the Xbox One. I have contacted Xbox support twice, spending over an hour troubleshooting with them during the second call. While we managed to fix it temporarily, the issue resurfaced after only two games and has persisted for a year. Today, as a 13-year-old boy, I received a one-week suspension from Xbox Live due to inappropriate behavior. This is the second time I have been suspended, but I recently discovered the previous suspension was also not caused by me. While my friend was visiting, he sent a message using my account that led to this current suspension. I am frustrated because it happened during my vacation, and now I cannot play Xbox until it's over. Missing the release of Fortnite season 8 with my friends is disappointing. I hope to resolve this issue without punishing the other kids involved. I recently canceled my Xbox subscription, but I see that I am still being charged. I believe I am owed a refund for the cost of Xbox Live. Additionally, it is important to have a phone number for customer support for those of us who prefer speaking with a live agent.
