I spoke with several different people using the customer service phone number, and was told that there would be no fee for switching plans (landline phone and internet*wifi, to just ** speed internet*wifi) as long as I was staying with Verizon. The very last person I spoke with said that there would be a fee of $*** for dropping the landline, and instead of going down to $***month it would only go down to $***month, even without phone, and cutting the speed of the internet in half! I am currently paying $*** a month and am looking at a reduction in my income. I will not be able to afford more than $** a month and may have to give up on having internet altogether. If you could tell me which of your policies is true, it will help me know how to proceed. ** -Thank You
