Order number *EE*****I placed this order and immediately cancelled once the confirmation screen came up because the wrong payment method was selected. I checked the bank account and saw that regardless of immediately canceling I was still charged. I called customer support and the rep kept telling me that I would be charged because the restaurant had accepted the order already. I don’t understand because i cancelled it IMMEDIATELY when the confirmation screen came up. I could understand if it was minutes later but literally it was seconds. So now I have been charged and do not have food. I do not think that is fair. I was going to reorder the food so I even asked if they would credit my Ubereats account. I was still told no and that nothing could be done. I would really like a refund because I do no think it is fair that I lost ** dollars in * seconds.
