The issue in GetHuman-darces's own words
I just received my safelink phone it is a Samsung J* Eclipse LTE network safelink(verizon) I am an existing safelink customer free unlimited calling and text I ordered it from the safelink Website my phone number is *** *** **** my old phone is broken. The new phone didn't come with any activation phone number or instructions..I charged the phone completely and and instructions came on the screen on how to set up WIFI so I did that and set up my google account and yahoo mail and then it stated if I activated WIFI I wouldn't be able to make or receive calls unless I connected to verizon network a message clearly states on the phones screen sim card is not from verizon wireless and has a setup wizard display message along with this statement but I tap it and nothing happens the sim card came already inserted in the phone when I received it I assume it is a safelink sim card I try to call out and I get connected to a verizon recording saying i can be connected to an external operator where I can place a call with a credit card calling card or via collect call .. I need to get connected to safelink network so I can place and receive calls please help me I need a phone
