The issue in GetHuman5225766's own words
Just purchased a **** Roku stick. I have an older model ( **-** years) Sony Bravia. It has only one HDMI port. I presently subscribe to ATT U-verse. I connected the U- Verse cable box to an input on the switcher as well as the Roku stick. I used the output on the switcher to send a cable to the T.V. I inserted the Roku stick into the same number on a switcher input as the video number used for the T.V. I turned the set on, I chose the Video Input number I just mentioned - ( T.V gives only Video to choose from). I got no connection for Roku.

GetHuman5225766 did not yet indicate what Roku should do to make this right.
