Continue*I have * roku devices. the remote *controls all have issues. I already received a replacement remote for my roku * (thank you!) because the batteries would go dead overnight. it works fine now. now I have issues with both of my streaming stick pluses. they work fine when they work. they have been acting up for a while and both are getting worse and it is frustrating! for no reason whatsoever, the remotes lose all connection with the device. I will be watching tv in living room and all is good. then I pick up remote to change channel and nothing...totally dead. unless there is an easier way, I have to unplug the power to roku stick and remove a battery then wait and let it pair. this is happening to both remotes...sometimes once a week...sometimes several times a week. this is very frustrating! both of my streaming sticks were purchased fairly close to each other and seems they have a service life just until they are out of warranty. I called roku about a month or two ago regarding this issue (at that time it was only the bedroom) and I was told to get the roku extensions and that should solve the issue. I installed them both and it seemed it was better but then kaputz...issues on both now. I always use fresh AA alkaline batteries and make sure there are no obstructions with the stick itself. replacement remotes are expensive...not much less than purchasing a new complete streaming stick. this makes no sense. i own * amazon fire TV's and one firestick and all are over * years old with no remote issues. the only reason i bought the rokus is to get spectrum choice as it was a better deal than sling and not available on prime...at least for me. it is not so much of a good deal if i have to shoulder the cost of replacing both remotes. if there is something else to try to remedy this problem i would love to give it a try but if i have two defective remotes then i would ask that roku would rectify this issue. thank you, s.d.g.
