The issue in GetHuman-junkofr's own words
I was trying to keep my income and no longer pay for a car rental. Especially after returning the car. ... I returned my Express Drive rental car to Hertz on *********, and I'm still being charge by Lyft for weekly rental. I had one response to a message I sent last weekend that listed the pending charges, and no response to any further emails sent. **At this point, I am considering closing my checking account so Lyft will stop taking money that isn't theirs. This leaves me nothing to even pay bills with and is overdrafting my account. **The lack of response after the initial email is both frustrating and shady.
Charging me rent for a car I returned is shady at best. They are driving my account balance to negative numbers and costing me overdraft fees. This needs to stop, yet I'm not getting response to my messages. As I said, I represented Lyft well, and this is not the right way to treat someone who has protected your brand.
I want those rental charges after the week including **** refunded to my account immediately, no additional rental charges moving forward, and a refund of $** in overdraft fees that resulted from this fiasco would be nice.
I began driving with Lyft Express Drive at the end of July and have had loads of positive feedback from my passengers. I represented Lyft well, and now they're doing me dirty.
I tried contacting Lyft through the help center and after the first email, had no response after the first email.
