I am writing as an FYI*I have been driving for Lyft in the Phoenix area since the middle of December. Almost * months and have over *,*** rides, put **,*** miles on my vehicle, have a *.** rating. I like driving for Lyft, but think there could be some improvements, in the app and in ability to communicate with Lyft.**I have considered driving for Uber as well since they have a greater share of the market. I have not followed through because I don't care for there business model I have been staying busy with Lyft up until about * to * weeks ago. I am a retired and need approximately $*** a week to supplement my Social Security. I was easily doing that up until *-* weeks ago. I get on the road about * am drive till * or ** or until the rides slow down. I take a break and get back on the road aprox. * pm and drive til dark. I know there are peak hours later but I don't drive after dark (usually) because I don't see like I used to at night, and I don't want to drive the people home from the bars.**I became aware of Veyo recently and have started the process to become a driver for them because Lyft has not been meeting my need for $*** per week. I am doing this reluctantly but have no choice. **I have sat waiting for a ride numerous times for over an hour.*I go on the customer app and can see there are seemingly many more drivers in the last few weeks. I know you have to give others rides but I have to think that it would be important to keep your more productive drivers like me busy so we don't have to look elsewhere for work.***A couple of suggestions **) Passengers could request a specific driver**) Offer to customers the ability to go to other places in the state, like Prescott, Tucson, Flagstaff etc***The Driver App needs some serious help & improvement. I would have made suggestions about this subject but it is so difficult to talk or contact anyone to make the suggestions to
