Order *************** automated call told me delivery would be the next day *-*pm and that a human would call ** minutes before arrival.****** Delivery did not come****** I called ikea at *:**. Told I needed to call delivery company.****** Called delivery company. Was told some of the items were coming from Orlando store and when they went to get these items, they weren’t available. Was told I needed to follow up with Ikea.****** Called Ikea. Spoke to “Tristan” Told me that they didn’t know what delivery company meant by that because “no items were coming from the store”. Was asked to hold. Left there for ** minutes.****** Called again. Explain issue. Begged not to be put on hold. Told that they were transferring me and assured me I would not hold. Was on hold for ** minutes.****** Called again. Spoke to “Dan”. Begged to be neither put on hold nor transferred. Dan assured me he was emailing the store and that I would receive a call back within * hours. Did not happen.****** Put in an order cancellation request through website. Bought my bedroom stuff somewhere else.****** Same day email response assured me that this was in process and if another delivery attempt was made, to decline the delivery.****** Next day, automated call to tell me delivery was scheduled for the next day. I had to wait for the real person to call ** minutes before delivery and let them know that I would be declining the delivery.****** Instead of the ** minute call-ahead, I got a call from the delivery company saying that they didn’t have the whole order from the store (same issue as before) and that they couldn’t deliver as promised. I said it doesn’t matter because I cancelled the order please send it back.****** I emailed again to demand my refund. I’m not confident that Ikea will ever get their items back. No one seems to know where they are. I don’t care. I just want my money. No response to email.***** Emailed again through “contact us” page to demand refund.***** tried to call. Phone lines down.
