I attempted to reach IKEA customer service three times, and it was a dreadful experience. I couldn't connect during the day and faced long wait times at night - 45, 80, and 94 minutes on each call. The first agent was unhelpful, offering incomplete advice. The second agent even scolded me for following the previous advice before abruptly ending the call at midnight. It seems customer service shuts down promptly at midnight, ending all ongoing calls. During my next attempt the following night at 9:50 PM, after enduring 94 minutes of irritating recorded messages, the call was disconnected at 11:24 PM. Upon calling back, I was notified by a recording that customer service was closed for the day. I am determined to resolve the $[redacted] shipping error, but the thought of contacting their customer service again is daunting. I would prefer snail mail to dealing with them on the phone. Warning others of this dreadful experience may be beneficial. Thank you.

I recently purchased 3 beige Billy Bookcases with doors at your Atlanta, Georgia store. In the first box I unpacked, I noticed damage on one of the shelves, which is not easily visible as it's an inside piece towards the back. Additionally, there is damage on an exterior visible piece of one of the side panels in another box. Due to limited space in my downsized apartment, I haven't been able to open the other two boxes or inspect the remaining shelves for damage. I'm wondering if it's possible to have replacements delivered for the damaged parts and have the damaged pieces picked up. If I can receive these replacement parts, I may consider opening the other boxes to check for further damage and maybe use undamaged parts from those shelves. As a solo project for a petite female in a third-floor loft, returning the items in their current condition is not feasible for me. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I visited the IKEA Round Rock store last Friday and purchased 4 countertops with a same-day delivery scheduled from 5-9pm. After waiting in the heat at the construction site, the delivery company, Logix, claimed they couldn't deliver due to road conditions which was false since it's a direct route on a major highway. They mentioned returning the countertops to IKEA. Despite hiring someone to retrieve them, IKEA stated the countertops were delivered to my home causing an unnecessary trip costing $[redacted]. IKEA NJ called on Sunday to say they found the countertops but can only deliver them by Tuesday, disrupting the installation schedule. Contacting IKEA has been frustrating as the calls are not going through, leading to hours of unsuccessful attempts.

My spouse is currently 38 weeks pregnant, which is 8 and a half months. We made a purchase at Ikea Brooklyn on June 2nd. The scheduled delivery was meant for Friday, June 8th, but it got postponed to Sunday, June 10th due to a call. Unfortunately, the delivery was pushed again to Wednesday, June 13th after the driver didn't ring the doorbell on Sunday. My spouse emphasized the urgency of receiving the delivery on Monday as she fears it might be too late soon. She specifically mentioned our availability only until 1pm. Despite this, XPO has scheduled the delivery window from 3pm to 7pm. We are extremely tired, haven't received our mattress, and it has now been 10 days since we made the purchase. I recently purchased a YPPERLIG product from IKEA, brand new and assembled it yesterday. While assembling, I encountered an issue with two of the holes not being the right size for the screws. I purchased the Hemnes N daybed at the Round Rock store in mid-May [redacted]. I have experience assembling Ikea furniture and had no issues with assembly until a person used the pull-out section and all five connecting screws pulled out. I believe the composite backboard needs replacement for proper reassembly. I promise to limit use to individuals under [redacted] lbs. The daybed is for my grandchildren, all under 5 years old. I purchased the "TUFFING loft bed frame" from Ikea on May 28, [redacted], at 11:57 pm with order number [redacted]87. The delivery took place on June 06th and comprised two packing units. Unfortunately, one of the units had a wrong tag, containing a different item. Upon realizing this, I promptly asked the delivery person to return and advised them to contact Ikea's customer service. The next day, I reached out to Ikea's customer service to address the issue, where a helpful assistant created a new order ([redacted]8) for me. Following their instructions, I refrained from receiving any notification regarding the new order. However, after waiting for a few days, I contacted customer service once again to inquire about the status. During this call, I was informed that the order had not been approved. I recently returned some kitchen items to Ikea for a refund, but I didn't have the credit card used for the purchase on me. The store issued me a credit instead of a refund, as they require the physical card for refunds to be processed directly back to it. I'm wondering if I can go back with the card and receipts to get the refund of $[redacted] back onto the card. I recently ordered 16 plates and 16 bowls from Ikea US (order number [redacted]57, article numbers [redacted].[redacted].52 and [redacted].[redacted].48) on May 30th. Although the delivery was on June 4th, the package arrived in poor condition with items broken due to insufficient packaging. After a long wait, I spoke to a representative who promised a redelivery (order #[redacted]65) with proper packaging. However, the replacement items arrived in an even worse state on June 19th, with many more plates and bowls shattered. I have been unable to reach Ikea's US customer service for a resolution and am requesting a refund for the original order. I recently ordered a bed online, but when it arrived, it was incomplete. Contacting customer service, I initially spoke with Sharday, who seemed distracted while assisting me. After being transferred to Tamera, it became clear that an additional part was necessary for the bed frame, information that wasn't mentioned on the website. Further transferred to Pamela, she contradicted the need for an additional part and mentioned it should have been included in the delivery. Upon escalating the issue to supervisor Alec, his rude behavior and raised voice were unexpected and unprofessional. A mere $15 gift card offered as compensation was inadequate considering the inconvenience. This experience with the customer service team has been disappointing, expecting at least an apology and the missing bed part to be promptly resolved.

I made an order on 6/17/18 with scheduled delivery for 6/19/18, including picking, delivery, and assembly services. Unfortunately, there was a no-show and no communication.
