To anyone at Facebook who can help me,**My account of ** years has been hacked repeatedly over the last few days. Passwords have been changed, safety nets (like trusted contacts and extra email addresses) have been removed, so that I cannot get back in. This is unacceptable and my personal information is at risk. Please, please help me rectify this by looking at my account and seeing the unusual activity for yourself, and restoring my access!**My name is Abigail Fleur Smith, also known as Abby Smith, my facebook name for the last * years has been Librana Aquila. Facebook URL: https:***libraquila*I can prove my identity with passport, driver’s license, etc if required. *On the morning of Friday *st June ****, around **am NZT, I was forcefully logged out of my Facebook account while I was using Facebook on my mobile phone at work (on the WiFi of my workplace). Over the next ** hours it became apparent I had been hacked - when I tried to log back in, I was informed that my password had been changed, though I had not changed it. I managed to get back in on Friday night via identifying photos of my friends and confirming my extra email address (*****@***.com). The original email that I created my account with, over ** years ago, is no longer active (*****@***.com). So I cannot receive codes or confirmation through it.*Not only that, but when I asked for a code to be sent to *****@***.com, it never showed up…*When I managed to get back into my account on Friday night (on my laptop) by identifying photos of my friends, I saw the ‘unusual activity’ that my account had been logged into from Baghdad, Iraq (of all places!) on a Samsung Galaxy *, if I remember correctly. Everything was in Arabic, I changed this back to English in the settings. I also changed my password, of course, to a very strong one that I have not used for anything else. I went to sleep thinking all was well.*The next morning when I went to check Facebook (on my laptop), I found I had been booted off my account again, and even the Facebook homepage was all in Arabic, with no way to change it (I could only use my browser translator to get rough English - I was using Google Chrome, my usual browser). When I went through the recovery process prompts that I had done the night before, I saw that my *****@***.com address had been removed, leaving only my original email that I have no access to. And when I reached the prompt to type in the names of my * most trusted contacts - all of them were ‘incorrect’, so I can only assume that the hacker removed these to stop me from getting back in.*I have gone through the recovery prompts probably ** times, trying every option to no avail.*As well as this, my step-father (Facebook name: Peter Equus) and my mother (Facebook name: Fleur Bourgeois) have both reported my profile with information letting Facebook know that I have been hacked.*This is simply unacceptable - I would be incredibly grateful if this email would perchance find it’s way to a person who could look at the activity on my account.
