Tier points are earned on eligible British Airways flights. The number of points you earn depends on the length of your flight, your ticket type, and your membership tier. As the new tier points collection period ends on 31st March 2025, you should utilise your opportunities to earn double tier points as per ongoing offers before the end date. The unutilised points might not roll over to the next collection period. However, the specifics about double tier points expiring are subject to the terms and conditions of the particular promotion.

If you need to cancel a flight for medical reasons, British Airways generally doesn't offer refund on non-refundable fares. But they might provide alternative options depending on your situation.
