I made a reservation on ******* for the*HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES WOONSOCKET. I used my husband's card but made the reservation using my name. When we attempted to check-in, we were not allowed to do so because I did not have an ID. My husband, who was paying for the room did have an ID and his card. There is no mandate for guests to have an ID and had I not gone to the desk, they would not know I didn't have an ID. They would not allow my husband to use the reservation and we were turned away. He is the rep payee for my disability and I lost $***.**. I had booked the room so I could use the facilities, specifically the pool which helps during periods of increased pain. I was told by the Holiday Inn that I would have to pursue a refund via Bookingbuddy. I've been given the run around for a few days and I am requesting my refund be processed ASAP as I have a limited income as it is and can certainly not afford to have $***.** stolen from me, which is essentially what has occurred I should no be made to pay for services I did not receive. I can certainly ask for assistance in this matter from executives at Trip Advisor or the States Attorney General, or report as fraud through my card but would hope that you do the right thing and refund my money. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
