I bought a sephora gift card **********. The card got lost in trash on xmas day. I went back to store and they gave me the number to use the gift card and when I tried to use it today I was told it is not the right number. Today best buy said I could get an exchange so I have a card that will work, but I cannot find anyone within best buy to help. Thank you!

I went back to the best buy store where the gift card was purchased. They gave me their customer support line again. I called them to see if I could get someone that could help give me a new card to replace the lost one. I did it while still at the store to have the retailers talk to the support line if the support line continued to say they could not do anything to help. The support line described they would give me a new card as a one time activity to fix this particular problem I learned the only way to avoid this in the future is record the gift card number upon purchase because there is no way it can be recalled. Even though best buy has poor reviews regarding their customer svc I felt that several employers were good about continuing to help to figure out what the customer can attempt to do to resolve the problem.
