I bought an Asus (XSIOUA-BB**-CB) on November **, ****.*On January *, whilst travelling through Portland Airport, the laptop screen was damaged going through airport security.*On January **, I took my laptop into Best Buy Geek Squad in Victoria, Canada (Uptown Location), to see what could be done to fix it.*The young man at the Geek Squad desk, checked with his manager, after I explained the situation, quoted me $*** to get the screen fixed, and even worse, a * week turnaround time. It was explained that the laptop needed to be shipped to Asus in Vancouver.*That same day on January **th, I took the laptop to Gizmo*s Computors on "Bay". They quoted and charged me (all in) $***.**, and better still a *-* day turnaround time. Sure enough, I left the laptop there on January **th, and just picked it up today on January **th. *(Thursday to Monday). They ordered the screen from Asus, and it was shipped the next day. I am appalled by this lousy customer service from Best Buy, and doubt I will shop there again!! FYI.
GetHuman-martyjwa did not yet indicate what Best Buy should do to make this right.
