The issue in GetHuman-evilseaw's own words
On December *th, I purchased the Canon EOS *D Mark IV DSLR Camera with lens online. I was excited about getting the camera as a birthday gift for my husband and I (since we share a birthday). I really wanted the camera so that I could I do volunteer photography for Pet Harbor Rescue. However, to my disappointment, after I received my order confirmation I received and email later that day that my order that it had been cancelled. ***So the next day, I decided to purchase the items individually since there were no other stores that carried the bundled item that I wanted. So it ended up costing me $*** more for the EXACT same items that are included in the bundle package price. I went to the store to pick up my order and asked if I could get the bundle price, and was told that they could not do that. They suggested that I call Best Buy to handle my price match question as they would be more likely to match the price for me.***So yes, I called Best Buy, and was told over and over again that they do not price match for the bundle option, without a specific reason other than "that's not our policy". So in order for me to get the price, I have to go back to the store, return the item, wait for the return to process on my credit card and then go back to order the item again. There is absolutely NO difference in what I bought compared to the bundle package (which I ordered to begin with). It's a shame to pay $*** more for the EXACT same items. If my order was not cancelled, I would have purchased the bundle package at the lower price. **I would just like Best Buy to honor the bundle price for the EXACT items that I purchased. Or even issue a store credit for the difference. ***I would like to consider myself a loyal best buy customer (with Elite status), but I don't feel appreciated as a customer. The extra $*** could be used for additional lenses or even towards my volunteer efforts with Pet Harbor Rescue or to cover the expense incurred during my husband being off work due to the government closing. I had other options that were less expense for purchasing, but I chose Best Buy specifically, and used my Best Buy Credit Card. Should I be forced to return the item I will, but would reconsider repurchasing with Best Buy and using my Best Buy Credit Card for any future purchases. Loyalty*Customer service is important to me and so is reasonable pricing. I just don't understand why they are selling the exact same items bundled for $*** less, I bought all the items in the bundle.
