I went to store in Monroe, LA last week to purchase a SSD for one of our office computers. **ISSUES: there is no product displayed only a notecard on a shelf with a SKU number * barcode. It asks me to use my phone. I did that and best buy thought that I was shopping in DALLAS. I wasted time fooling around on website looking for something that should have been in front of my nose.**A busy female employee told me I could get one from the front area next to geek squad. I waited for a few minutes and when it was my turn I told the cashier I wanted to purchase a Sandisk SSD from my computer. She was totally clueless and didn't know what to do or how to help me. I suppose if I had a sku she could have found one in the area behind where she was standing.**I visited this store a week prior and purchased a Sandisk from an employee, at the same register.**I asked for the manager, he was busy. I spoke to the young man at the front door, (loss control) and he said they were a theft item and they were put up.**I am an IT professional and am ** years old. I know something about retail. If it is hard for me to stop in and get what I need I will go somewhere else or just ask google and click. If I'm NOT in our store * LOST revenue and no changes for secondary sales.**I am stopping at Best Buy because I want it immediately. If I wanted it online I would never leave my office. Employees who suggest that I go online just gave me a reason to NOT visit the store. **Best Buy could package these products in theft-deterent plastic cases, RFID, or at least put them where I can point at them and ask and employee to get me one.**PC upgrade accessories (RAM, SSD, Gaming, Video Cards) are all wanted. People don't want to wait. Best Buy could do SO MUCH better making products available and easy to find.
