I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on ******** in your store in Waterloo Iowa for $****. The salesman talked us into buying the extended warranty for an additional $***. We have been having problems with the flex door not shutting properly. It would often not shut all the way, and you would have to pull it back out and then shut it. After calling Best Buy and letting them know that we needed someone to come look at it, it has now taken over * months and close to **-** phone calls to finally get someone out here to look at it. We were continually told that there was no one in my area to do service calls. We live ** miles from the store that we purchased the refrigerator. How can you sell extended warranties if you have no one around to service the area? So the person who came to fix it showed us the problem. A cable in the drawer slide that keeps curling up and jams it so that it wont close all the way. He claimed to have fixed it and left us with a bill that he charged you for over $*** because he had to come from so far away. The best part is, the drawer still doesn't close right. It does the same thing as before. I was not willing to go through the hassle of calling Best Buy again and getting the run around for * more months. So I decided to fix it myself. After looking at You Tube on what to do with a Samsung door that sticks from a curled up cable, (yes, they actually have a video of the same problem that I have) I went ahead and fixed it myself. After taking the cable out and twisting it clockwise, it now works as it should. So my question is, why should I EVER buy another extended warranty, or another product from Best Buy ever again??? I was told to just call and they will come out and either fix it or replace it if I purchase this warranty. That was an outright lie. I should never have had to go through what I went through just to get someone to come out and look at my refrigerator. Best Buy owes me $*** for a warranty that they don't stand by, and for me having to fix it myself. Have a nice day. Brian Stahl
