find the credit card account which had disappeared when I logged in to my account ... A person claiming to be a co-account holder called BofA on the **th of March and closed my credit card account (visa cardnr. ending in ****). There is only one co-account holder and that is my wife Janna K. Sheldon and she didn't make the call. So how could a complete stranger call BofA and get through the security checks and close our credit card account? This is a breach of security protocol and constitutes an act of gross negligence on the part of a BofA employee. I am not going to let this rest. BofA needs to explain to me how this could happen and what steps it is going to take to redress this unfortunate situation. I am sending this email because I reside outside the US and calling internationally to Customer Service * times at great expense has, asyet, failed to provide me with adequate answers.*I look forward to receiving a timely response and a plan of action.*Sincerely yours,**Roger A. This was especially frustrating because I have not yet been able to find a BofA rep that takes this seriously enough. It just costs me a lot of money making international telephone calls and then waiting **-** minutes to get somebody on the line that can help me with this serious problem.
Taking this seriously and coming up with a solution (a plan of action). The fault for this security blunder lies entirely with BofA but the consequences of the blunder lie with me, the customer, so far. What I need is for somebody from BofA to contact me concerning how this problem will be resolved by BofA. I understand that BofA is not willing to communicate by e-mail so they should call me. At the moment I am in South Africa until April **th My telephone nr. is *** ********* After the **th I shall be back home in The Netherlands: tel.nr *** *********. I look forward to receiving a call from somebody who can solve this problem.
