Hello, I returned a blue hooded jacket that I had ordered at Asda store in Hartlepool, Cleveland. It cost £38.95. Unfortunately, I have not received the refund in my bank account yet. The order number for the jacket is Y[redacted]35, and the returns label number is [redacted]1. The returns label had the address for Clipper Logistics in Newark. Could you please proceed with the reimbursement promptly? Thank you, Regards, Sylvia T. 52 The Sycamores Hartlepool, Cleveland TS255JU

I contacted customer service last week about my car being affected by contaminated fuel. My blue Nissan Micra, registered as X283 GTP, experienced issues after filling up at a pump at Asda Newgate Lane. A car in front of me also filled up before breaking down at the kiosk, which can be seen on CCTV footage from a few days before Good Friday. Despite initially attributing the car trouble to cold weather, the weak mixture warning light indicated a problem. My mechanic confirmed the issue, and I now await repairs including a new lambda sensor and petrol filter. Unfortunately, I lack receipts because I pay with cash and cannot claim through Asda. I am frustrated by this situation and the inconvenience of being without transportation for work for five days.

I am having difficulty getting assistance regarding a password change request from Asda to consolidate my accounts. After changing the password as instructed, I am now unable to access my account as I keep getting redirected to the home page. This issue appears to be on their end. I have been facing problems with password recognition for a few months, but it became critical recently as I can no longer place orders. I would appreciate it if you could investigate and resolve this matter as continually resetting the password is not resolving the problem. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I purchased two leopard print seat covers with order number [redacted]1. The first parcel arrived promptly, but the second one never did, and I didn't receive a tracking link for it. I contacted customer service on Friday, and despite being told they would follow up with the courier, I haven't received any updates. In order to secure the full set, I placed a new order today with order number [redacted]4. I would appreciate clarification on the status of the undelivered parcel and a potential refund. Additionally, since I had to reorder and pay another delivery fee of 5.95, I kindly request a refund for the additional charge. I believe I should also be compensated for the inconvenience caused by this situation, the lack of follow-up, and the delays. Thank you.

I visited Asda in Bury town center today around 6:30 PM and had a dreadful experience. After purchasing an item I believed to be faulty, I took it to customer service, which happened to be a pair of shoes causing cuts on my feet after wearing them once. The employee called a manager who arrived shortly and repeatedly stated, "I can't do anything with them," while slamming the shoes on the desk. Despite explaining the issue, the manager continued to refuse help. Other staff gathered around as the manager behaved aggressively towards me when I mentioned a pricing error on my purchase. Although I have been a loyal Asda customer, the treatment I received at the Bury store has left me feeling intimidated and upset. I used to frequent the Stockport Asda and had always enjoyed great customer service. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Bury location due to this experience.

I visited the Asda store at Ventura Park in Tamworth, Birmingham. I don't go there often as the Minworth store is closer to me. I have mobility issues and am registered as disabled, so I use a small trolley and the scan and go option for a quicker shopping experience. On this visit, when I reached the self-checkout, I wanted to bag my eggs and asked the staff member politely if I could have another bag. She rudely told me I was not supposed to use the self-scan and should be at the scan and go section instead. Despite the scanner accepting my items, she scanned the bag for me and made me feel uncomfortable by reaching across me. This cashier also indicated they prefer cash at her checkout, not scan and go. Her behavior upset me, considering my mobility issues and anxiety. While I understand everyone can have a bad day, her attitude was unacceptable. I left the store feeling mistreated and disappointed by the customer service at Asda.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my recent online order experience. We placed an order for discounted Heineken and Moretti beers, as well as other items, set for delivery tomorrow. Today, we were notified that the price of Heineken changed, and the Moretti beer is out of stock. My concern is that when I place an order at a certain price, it should be honored without cancellations or price adjustments. If prices change, there should be a clear deadline on the website to inform customers in advance. The same applies to items being out of stock; if a promise to deliver is made, stock availability should be guaranteed. Our order number is [redacted]. I am hopeful for a satisfactory resolution to this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Kind regards, M. Schreuders

Last night, I tried to reach customer service but ended up on this "gethuman.com site/forum" by mistake. I want to clarify that I prefer my messages meant for a company to stay private and not be seen and rated by the public without my consent. The redirection to this forum was confusing, and I believed I was on my ASDA account sharing a message with ASDA, not a public forum. I have requested that my details be removed and for an apology to be issued. While it's fine to discuss a company or service publicly, it's best not to do so right away when contacting them. The company should have the chance to address any issues before they are publicly discussed.

I'd like to share my positive experience with the optical department at Asda Eastlands. Arash, the optometrist, was fantastic. He thoroughly explained the eye exam process, was polite, friendly, and catered well to my physical needs as I am semi-disabled. His care and attention made me feel comfortable and at ease. He truly is an asset to the company and deserves recognition for his outstanding service. I also want to mention Tara, one of the optical advisors, who was equally polite, chatty, and welcoming. My recent visits have been wonderful, and I've been a customer for many years. Please pass along my appreciation to both Arash and Tara for their exceptional service. Thank you, Mrs. Mary Johns

Hello, I'm writing to discuss a product I bought from George online on January 14, [redacted]. Today, while out with my baby in the stroller, it suddenly broke. Upon inspection, I noticed that the wheel had come completely loose. I had noticed the stroller veering to the left a few times before, but I attributed it to my baby leaning that way. Now it's clear there was an issue from the beginning. This has been frustrating as the stroller is just 4 months old and cost £79.00 excluding delivery. I'm hoping for a refund or some resolution. I've attached pictures of the broken wheel, the other front wheel, and the stroller - aside from the wheel, it's in great condition and well cared for. Thank you. Shannon L.

Hello, my spouse and I visited our local Asda store in Rotherham for the first time since March [redacted], as we had been shielding and using the online service for the past 15 months. I was disappointed to see a significant number of individuals from different ethnic backgrounds moving around the store without masks. While I understand some may be exempt, the majority of other shoppers were wearing masks. I am not raising a racial issue, but I wonder why these individuals were not approached about not wearing masks. My spouse advised against saying anything, but I felt compelled to leave due to health concerns as my wife has underlying health issues that could have been seriously impacted. Despite completing our grocery shopping, we have decided to stop using Asda after being loyal customers for many years. I want to emphasize that my complaint is solely about the lack of consideration for others' safety, rather than race-related concerns. Thank you.

I recently had a challenging experience at checkout no. 2. The cashier seemed to be having a rough day and took it out on customers. After placing my groceries on the belt, I asked for a price check on some tea towels. Unfortunately, the 8-pack of Coke split, adding to the delay. When I tried to purchase one packet of paracetamol and one of ibuprofen, she refused, claiming I had two ibuprofen. After insisting and showing her the correct items, she finally allowed the purchase. It turned out she had mistakenly entered the paracetamol before. Despite resolving the issue, she continued to handle my groceries roughly, making me quite upset. It was a discourteous and frustrating encounter I hope to not have again.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Asda. While shopping, I bought a lottery ticket and later discovered I was charged 85p for a newspaper I did not purchase. As a 76-year-old customer living alone, I cannot afford such an error. I am upset by this situation and would like a refund. I have encountered similar issues in the past but have not complained before. I tried contacting customer service without success due to technology challenges and lack of information. I value shopping at Asda and wish to continue as a loyal customer. This incident has caused me unnecessary stress, and I hope it can be resolved promptly.

Dear Customer Service, I have made multiple attempts over the past three days to place an order through your website using different devices. Unfortunately, I keep encountering an error message prompting me to try again as something went wrong. Additionally, the confirm order button and order total fail to display. Although I have entered all the required details, such as address, bank card information, and selected a delivery time slot with items in the cart, I am unable to complete the transaction. I am currently in Singapore while trying to purchase these items for my parents in the UK using a UK bank card, and I have updated the address accordingly. Given the urgency to have the items delivered by May 25, [redacted], I am inquiring if it would be possible to process the order and payment over the phone. Thank you for your assistance. Best, Louise

I am distressed about my recent order, [redacted][redacted]. I received an email regarding a missed delivery slot which jeopardizes my future recurring slots. This situation has left me without essential groceries. Being disabled and clinically vulnerable, I rely heavily on this service. I am facing great anxiety due to this issue. Despite my repeated attempts to contact customer service, I have not been able to reach a representative or resolve the problem. The order itself is correct, but it appears to have skipped a scheduled delivery slot for no apparent reason, making this the second occurrence. The threat of losing my recurring slot is deeply concerning given the challenges I face. I hope to find a resolution soon as the current lack of communication options is extremely frustrating.

I bought a pack of Cadbury caramel donuts costing £1.50 this morning. Upon opening it, I discovered the product was spoiled, though today is the expiration date. I'm concerned about the quality control and the fact that the product was damaged before its expiry. I inquired at the store, and the manager mentioned they could be from different batches. I find this explanation unsatisfactory, considering the product's early deterioration. I'm apprehensive about consuming such products and their impact on health. This incident occurred at the ASDA store on Neasham Road in Darlington. I reached out to the store for a refund, but I seek a more detailed clarification regarding this issue. Thank you.

I recently had an Asda delivery scheduled for Saturday, 5th June, between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Despite being told it was out for delivery at 9:45, the app later indicated it had been delivered around 10 pm. However, I never received it. To my surprise, the following morning, Sunday, 6th June, I discovered my shopping scattered all over my back garden after letting my dog out. Unfortunately, as everything had defrosted and burst open, I had to discard it all into a black bag and place it in the bin. When I contacted customer service to report the issue, I was asked to retrieve the bag for a photo, but due to being disabled with a heart condition and living alone, this was not possible as the bag was at the bottom. I'm seeking a refund for my shopping totaling £59.33 and some form of compensation for this inconvenience. My reference number is [redacted]87. I have relied on online shopping since lockdown began. Regards, Maggie M.

On December 14, [redacted], an Asda delivery van caused damage to our garden wall. We received a letter from Gallagher Bassett (GB) on behalf of Asda, accepting responsibility and requesting photos and repair quotes. Due to lockdown challenges, we sent the information on March 3, [redacted]. After no response, we decided to pay for the repairs ourselves to prevent further damage. Despite follow-up emails on March 29 and April 4, we haven't heard back from GB. We seek resolution to refund the £[redacted] repair cost incurred. Rosalind D. and Jeffrey D. Hello, I recently purchased a 2-pack of jeans from the George online shop with next-day delivery. I expected to receive my parcel on Monday or Tuesday. However, it's now Wednesday, and the delivery hasn't arrived. According to Yodel, there were issues with gaining timely access to the building, although I've been here since Monday morning. I find it frustrating that I paid extra for a service that hasn't been fulfilled. Hopefully, the parcel will arrive soon, as waiting another day would defeat the purpose of paying more for expedited delivery. Thank you for your attention to this matter. A. Wilson

Hello, my name is Jennifer D., I am French, and I live in Clermont Ferrand, France. On Saturday, June 6th at 11:55 pm, I noticed a transaction of [redacted] euros made to your online site that I did not authorize. I have reported this as fraud in France and requested a refund from my bank. They claim I validated the transaction, which is not true as I do not shop for groceries in England. I urge you to resolve this situation promptly. Additionally, the following day there was an attempted transaction of [redacted].44 euros which was declined, but the [redacted].59 euros was successfully taken from my account through hacking. I hope you will take the necessary steps to refund me. There were also two transactions of 0.01 euros each, further confirming the fraudulent activity in my account. I trust that you will investigate this issue and identify the fraudster who has caused me this inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
