. **Hello AT&T,**We pay our AT&T phone bill with AMEX and our Direct TV bill through AMEX. *We began to notice that even though we dropped a phone line from our account, we still had this AT&T charge of about $*** *each month on our AMEX bill.**The first time our *AMEX bill listed the *AT&T*charge as* "U VERSE AT&T" was in July **** . *This is when we knew there was a problem. * ***On Tuesday, September **, *****we called AT&T customer service to make an effort to resolve the* problem. *We spoke with Jenny and she*told us that the charges were definitely for a U-VERSE account. Then she mentioned that we needed to update our payment method. * She said that the AMEX card that *AT&T had on file for this account had expired in August ****. *We explained that we did not want the service and had not been using the service in several years. We have not had an active *U-Verse account in at least two years. ***We have been charged $***.** from February **** to August **** and various amounts ranging from $*** ish to $***.** from August **** through January ****. **TOTALING MORE THAN $****.**. * Two years is a long time to continue charges with an expired account.***Our AMEX account had been breached so our account numbers were changed. *We asked her how AT&T can charge*services with an expired or breached credit card?**We expect to receive compensation for these charges.****Carl and Coleen Clower*C*****@***.com
