How Do I Link My Ibm Cloud with My YouTube Channel?

You need to log in to your IBM Cloud. Click on the profile image and select YouTube Connector from the drop-down that appears. Now under your profile picture, click YouTube Connector and a new window will open where you can add an active Google Account or create one if you don't have it already set up for YouTube or Gmail account. Click on the Add New Connection button.

You can connect your IBM Cloud with your YouTube channel and view videos you've uploaded to YouTube on IBM Cloud. You can view all videos you linked. Here are the different ways to link your IBM Cloud with your YouTube channel.

1. Ensure You Have an Active IBM Cloud

You need an active IBM Cloud first. If you don't have one, you can create one by registering on its website. Once the channel is live, it's time to link it with your YouTube channel.

2. Linking With YouTube Connector

Go to IBM Cloud and click on the YouTube button in the top-right corner of your screen. Do the following:

  • Under your profile picture, click YouTube Connector.
  • Click Connect with YouTube to link your IBM Cloud and YouTube accounts together.
  • The IBM Cloud will link with a brand new or existing YouTube channel (your choice).
  • You'll get a prompt to log into the YouTube app after you connect with IBM Cloud.
  • Once that's done, it's time to start streaming.

3. Click Add New Connection

You will need to add a new connection on IBM Cloud to link your IBM Cloud to your YouTube channel. You should:

  • Click on the Connections tab at the top of your dashboard.
  • Click Add New Connection in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  • Choose YouTube from the drop-down menu and click Next.
  • Type your YouTube channel's username and click Next.
  • Type your YouTube channel's password and click Next.
  • Click Sign In or Finish Setup.

4. Allow Access

Click Allow Access to the YouTube Account information you entered. This allows IBM Cloud access to your name, email address and profile information.

5. Connect a YouTube Channel in the Settings

Go to your IBM Cloud and click the Settings button to connect to a YouTube channel. You should:

  • Select Advanced Settings and then click on YouTube Channel Integration.
  • A window will pop up, click on the Add Channel button and enter your YouTube channel's username and password.
  • Click on the Link to a YouTube channel.
  • Then enter your username and click Continue.
  • Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
