Virgin mobile is a network service provider using the same 4G spectrum band as EE. The company offers phone services, internet, and text service. Customers can use prepaid or postpaid wireless services. Virgin Media offers customers television, mobile phone, and broadband internet service over its cable network. Besides, the mobile service is under the Virgin Mobile brand, which is the mobile virtual network operator and uses Orange and T-Mobile networks.

Currently, Virgin Mobile brand is undergoing a shutdown by the parent company Optus. The network is expected to stop selling internet and phone service by June 15. All the company stores will close, but customers already on the existing plans will receive services for the time being.

Existing customers will move to Optus to ensure they continue to receive their services normally without any problems. No need to panic there, right?

How Do I Cancel My Payment Arrangement with Virgin Mobile?

You can change your payment by following the procedure below.

  1. Go to Virgin Mobile homepage
  2. Sign in to your account
  3. Select payment on the top page
  4. Select direct debit
  5. The new page shows the direct Debit details that are linked to your Virgin Mobile account
  6. Click change at the bottom page
  7. Confirm the change by clicking OK

After canceling the service, you can choose a new service. Canceling a contract means paying 25% of your pro-rated plan fee for the rest of the contract. For instance, if you cancel a $35 plan 3-months early, you will be charged a $26.25 fee to leave. To end your contract, simply contact Virgin Mobile customer support for help if you have problems doing it online.
