How Do I Change My Account Name with Virgin Media?
Virgin Media customers can change the name on their accounts at any time. You'll need to access your My Virgin Media account to change your account name with Virgin Media. Before you do, it's worth checking that you currently have your details correctly recorded on the system. Then, select the My Details option in the drop-down menu next to View All. 1. Go to the Virgin Media Website
To change your account name, you will need to:
- Go to the Virgin Media website
- Log in to the Virgin Media website with your current account details
- Under My Profile, select Account Name Change from the list of options on the left-hand side of your screen.
- Click Update on this screen, and you'll receive a security code automatically.
2. Forgot Your Account Details?
Log in to the Virgin Media website with your current account details. If you don't remember your username or password, you can reset it by following the instructions on this page.
3. Choose Account Name Change
Under My Profile, select Account Name Change from the list of options on the left.
- Enter your new Virgin Media email address and password. You'll be able to use this to manage all your services.
- Click Submit Changes.
4. Click Update To Receive a Security Code
You will get a prompt to enter your security PIN. Enter the code you were sent in an SMS or by calling [insert contact number here].
Once you have entered this code, click on Update at the bottom of your screen to confirm that you want to change your account name.
5. Enter the Security Code
You can update your account name by entering the security code and pressing Submit. Then, use the fields at the bottom of this form to change your account name.
Ensure you enter the correct security code before pressing submit, as you can take no further action on this page if you do not enter it correctly.
6. Save Changes
Once you have entered your new details, click Save Changes to finish. You can also change your Virgin Mobile phone number or email address via My Profile.
