How Do I Update Information in My Verizon Wireless Account?
If you have recently had a change in such things as your billing address or email address, you need to update this information on your Verizon Wireless account. You can update information by logging in to your Verizon Wireless account and accessing the account settings through the My Verizon drop-down menu.

Updated information such as a change in your billing address or a change in your method of payment needs to be changed as soon as possible. In this guide, you will learn how to update the most commonly replaced information and how to navigate the Verizon Wireless menus to update other information.
Updating User ID
- On the Home screen, place your cursor over the My Verizon in the upper-right corner
- After your cursor is over the My Verizon Menu tap Account at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
- Tap User ID on the Quick Links menu on the left side of Verizon Wireless profile tab
- Write your new User ID, tap Save Changes (at the bottom).
This User ID is used to sign in to My Verizon.
- To go back to 'Account Settings,' press the back arrow in the upper-left corner or press the home button to exit.
Updating Addresses
- From the Home screen, place your cursor over the My Verizon menu.
- Tap the Menu icon (upper-right) then tap Account.
- From the Profile tab, click on Contact & Billing located on the left side.
- You can make updates to email addresses, contact numbers, billing addresses, and service addresses.
- Tap Edit on any of the following fields to make changes then tap Save Changes (at the bottom)
Billing Address:
- New Billing Address 2 (optional)
Service Address:
- New Service Address 2 (optional)
- If your service address is the same as the billing address, tap Select a Previous Address to choose an address you have added already.
- To go back to 'Account Settings,' press the back arrow in the upper-left corner or press the home button to exit.
Updating Payment Method
- From the Home screen, place your cursor over the Bill Menu in the upper-right corner
- After tapping the Bill Menu tap Settings at the bottom of the menu.
- Scroll down to Payment Methods and press Add on the new payment method
- Write your new payment method information and tap Continue (at the bottom).
- Confirm your payment details
