As a Verizon Wireless customer, you need to know how to find your phone's SIM code in case you wish to switch phones or service providers. How can you locate the SIM code on your mobile device? You can learn more about Verizon Wireless phones and tablets here, and below are steps you can take to locate your device SIM code.

SIM Code Location

Your mobile phone isn't the only device with a SIM code or identification number. Your modem also has a SIM if you have Internet service through Verizon Wireless. You can locate information for both through your online account access.

Phone SIM

Account managers, those will full access, can locate the device SIM online for the mobile phone or tablet. If you're the account manager, follow these steps to find the SIM code for your device:

  1. Open Verizon Wireless's website on your computer.
  2. Log into your account.
  3. Select "My Devices."
  4. Choose "Device Overview" to pull up the specifications for the one containing the SIM code you need.
  5. Scroll to "PIN/PUK." PIN means personal identification number, and PUK means personal unblocking key. Click "View."
  6. Your SIM code will display on the screen.

Note: If you have ordered a new SIM card for your device, the number on the card should be on the item itself and in the packaging. You can record this number and store it in a safe location.

Modem ICCID

To find the modem SIM code, access this information online and follow these steps:

  1. Open Verizon Wireless in your browser.
  2. Log into your account.
  3. Go to "Verizon Mobile Broadband Manager Interface."
  4. Select "Menu" from the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  5. Choose "Help" and select "About."
  6. Your ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identification Number) should appear in a pop-up window.
  7. The SIM card can also be removed allowing you to view the number directly on the card.

Sometimes, SIM cards can be switched between devices, but it's important to note that not all cards are compatible with all devices. Make sure the device can use your current SIM card and code.
