Even better, you can set it up to debit your account immediately when you schedule the bill payment. Here are the steps to set up a recurring payment with TD Bank.
The first step to setting up a recurring payment is logging into your TD Bank account. Provide your username and password to sign in to your account. Go to the Online Banking tab. Select the Payments.
Select Add Recurring Payment. It will ask if you want to use a previously saved payee or create a new one. If you have a saved payee, select it from the list and enter the necessary information about how often you want to pay and its due date.
If this is a new payee that's not already in your account, click Create a New Recurring Payment and fill out the fields.
Select Schedule Payment. This will bring you to the Amount page, where you can decide how much money to transfer with the bill payment. After selecting your preferred payment amount, click Next.
Choose whether you want to schedule your payments for a certain day of the month. If so, complete the field with Recurring Date with a convenient date for transferring money from your account.
Decide how often you want to transfer funds from your account at regular intervals. To add another payment date, click Add Recurring Date and fill in the appropriate fields.
The next page will be the Confirmation Page. This is where to confirm the information you entered and review the details and routing numbers. Ensure the information is correct before proceeding to the next step. If you are satisfied with your entries, click Submit.
